All right here's in spring inspiring story that it's about a little girl's journey from living under Chinese rule and then -- -- America's inner city.

In less than ideal circumstances so for instance my family showed up without English skills and with very limited financial resource -- But it's that we.

Managed to worked hard to and to you know and the lesson I learned from that was that that this country offers an all kinds of opportunities if you're willing to take advantage of them you can do all kinds of places.

The interesting thing is there's been so much talk recently about government handouts.

And giving more handouts to give people more opportunity to get to the level of which you did would you attained.

Do you agree with those government handouts or -- Absolutely not so and I say that for two major reasons one nice sign in China.

Just how bad it is for the state to run the economy anchor -- in China during the time.

When the command economy was still very much in place in the state was telling everybody where to live where to work what they could buy and how much.

And there was a lot of poverty and the country was very backwards which is why my -- since you didn't hear and taking inner city Oakland California.

I sort of saw the wealthier states.

Upfront and personal and I also saw that he didn't work there was a breakdown in law -- -- order a total absence of personal responsibility.

And my view is that to people ought to take responsibility for their lives and I think this country will offer you.

That opportunities that you need to.

So you ended up becoming a conservative I did and having those ideals in the way in which you live your life.

What is the message that you want to give other people.

Other immigrants well I would say -- -- things one it's not going to be easy freedom.

It's complicated and there are no guarantees and number two it -- you you know.

One shouldn't expect any freebies life and as an immigrant often times you're gonna have today.

Got to step -- a teacher there maybe even ten steps for their -- ultimately freedom's worth choosing.
