Welcome back everybody I'm -- try to eat.
Colors I was joining us today fasten your health news -- foxnews.com.
When talking about making lists the one we need to make listen how does that have anything to do with -- I now well I haven't had anything to do it well.
Mental health also with you know as a producer I'm juggling a lot of products -- -- same -- -- the way that I've.
Been able to be successful at that is by making -- -- -- -- compulsive list -- so I -- -- about everything not only -- stuff but also home but you always is a copy everything on the -- gas and -- there -- days that are going to be better than others where you're constantly taking what you had in putting it on the next day yeah and that's -- but sometimes it's you just need to parrot as a little bit better and so bad about doing that already so that you're not list -- -- maker by Nicholas -- and a leaving it somewhere but you've got -- -- that are.
Going to be helpful and I have my -- I thought I'm so excited about and keep crowing about.
And there will be apps for the iPhone yes definitely he definitely.
What I found in in working.
And and being able to useless is that it really keeps you on.
Deadline I mean and being journalists we know deadlines.
Eight you're able to -- folks guessed the what I do before I leave work every single night -- -- make a list for the following day and I run through everything that have to happen the next day you know -- -- she got a phone call -- -- view whatever it is.
You know I have to go to bank whatever and I write it all out the night before and I run through the whole -- in my head.
It's actually a Smart thing to do while you're still work -- that's what I do at night and I have a hard time falling asleep yes so did -- all done during the day we work and then you've got your evening free to just have -- you know thoughts about.
Other wonder -- -- you know like you may forget things here -- there so sometimes I'll email myself when I'm home like I forgot to do this or make a meeting meeting maker.
So it'll pop up the next day rain -- you know call Joyce yeah whatever it is -- then I'll remember and I'll just put it on my list.
As it pops up -- we are -- people.
Yes yes history so it you know how it is your your busy you're doing a hundred different things and you may forget thanks so something pops into your head.
I would write it down immediately no matter where you are set -- phone is great for that because -- you're gonna have it with you all the time right so you should have a place where your rating things down.
Or you know emailing yourself you should have some kind of system for me what works is to have something.
You know at my gas I believe that no pat my desk at all times.
What I do grocery -- I leave and my kitchen at all times so I know where the -- -- -- sometimes is -- that could be a little bit chaotic scene need to focus.
Yes I think you need to be prioritize and you need to be very realistic about what can get diamonds that's the problem it's yeah because people -- all this stuff on their list which I'm happy about the -- break things down and you put them down on the west.
But you really need to say can this actually happened today.
Will this be achievable today and if not maybe he's -- Mars last time you -- order doesn't matter except when it does yeah it is real I mean.
-- not you know I just I really want people to be able to people who are not list makers like yourself.
Be able to just write things down and get it out of your head and put it down on Paper.
So for that I don't think that the the order matters seeking kind of just lake stream of consciousness put down everything you need to do and then from there you can take it and then decide what are the deadlines -- -- sorry I may also be prepared.
Be prepared gas as a producer I try to be a tiny one step ahead and always know what's gonna happen I don't like surprises so I was -- pre interviews with people you kind of know what -- I say before they say -- you know.
And so what that's.
Being in TV -- also at home.
I just recently got an apartment has been night we were.
You know looking -- at New York City trying to find a place you have to for the effect can be.
And you get very overwhelmed early the same so I went in and I had a -- and the list was basically.
You know how many closets were in the bedroom.
And what where -- hardwood floors was there -- dorm and all these things that you think of course you notice when you locked and but if you get overwhelmed you may overlook all these things and when to leave.
You're like wait a minute I have no idea what that look like or what happens if you have a list it keeps you focused keeps you on on your task and famous people do it famous people that -- -- doing well Madonna is the the most -- -- a compulsive list maker who she is constantly saying you know in her -- from here -- there -- rating -- about I think she's got to do that day and and all that Tomlin was a list maker.
Johnny Cash lot of presidents who was makers -- -- Ronald Reagan was -- -- care.
Martha Stewart a lot of successful people -- I'm not the only crazy one out there making -- you're not create -- we're crazy don't make -- my problem is that I'll make a list.
But I see it's just it's like oh my god it's so over on you don't know what a look at it.
Yeah that's a problem that's hard because it I think what you need to do set yourself up with for small wins yeah need to make little -- And then once he starts tick off all the things on that list of so much more complex -- you so much better about yourself you have that small little list first instance treated.
-- analysts make -- list for tomorrow.
And Valerie writes I am my husband's list if I didn't text and it reminded you have to do certain things he would be absolutely lost.
List making is bib Leo therapy a good thing according to press.
I'm okay so we can not quite as information on foxnews.com.
And you have a block.
I don't want to call list producers and you -- really argue this was saying yeah I'm right in the office takes the media get a look at an idealistic I had to leave these.
Thank you so -- for it.
