A teacher.

They're English teacher right Samantha did you think it.

I think that the teacher -- -- -- to or not.

-- -- -- -- So.

You have career -- today I think -- you want -- to.

Come out and see what's some people do for their jobs and whether or not you might have an interest in that so I'm just gonna pass the Mike he can introduce yourself.

And saved maybe what you want to study in in college.

I'm not I'm Lindsay and I'm pretty undecided about what I wanna stay in college but I'm taking a video class now.

And I'm really interest in the hole like producing an editing aspect of the TV shows and which -- I had -- -- that happened to the control room.

Okay -- some all right so producers are very important part of the production of the show is you could see when we went down there.

There are more important than the -- and there's many more of them right because they put the -- -- together.

I'm I'm Sabbath and I'm I'm also in the southern island study but maybe something of medicine and the sciences and banks in that sense.

-- And Tom Lawson -- and I I think -- studied business or finance -- like math that's something with that.

And Molly I'm undecided to back -- about site and I also really like writing so maybe.

That.

My name's Caroline and I'm interested in political science and also history -- -- thank you for having.

Okay so in general on what you they were here for about an hour and so we saw behind the scenes.

And actually some of the interviews take place what -- what a surprise to you about.

What you saw.

Happened behind the scenes today if anything -- was a pretty much what you expected when you come to life TV show.

-- -- -- -- -- -- Just where we make mistakes you think we handle it good and yeah well and had a really well okay.

Anyone else have any sort of observations.

We noticed a lot I mean it's -- -- structured and sort of mellow and here I think a lot of us were expecting a little -- chaos and stuff but.

It's you know it's it makes -- same guys -- have a good time which is.

Yet many people say -- you get nervous to do it of -- TV show every day but it's once you've been doing it for so long.

Not that it's second nature but not a big part of it is.

In what have you is asking you when that when the guys don't know if they're on camera I don't know if I'm on camera we seem to be more relaxed and just -- -- backing like -- camera catches you.

But it's because we know sort of the routine of how it all works just like any other job like I'd be really scared to go be a surgeon tomorrow because -- I think about it.

Right.

So tell me a little bit about this career day what are some of the other students to girls doing today.

There is a lot of different things -- -- Connecticut also in the city but a lot of -- -- going to -- like -- surgery.

Or out into an advertising earn their going to Google and FaceBook also and at some really wide -- about everything so.

The media big heart.

The theme this year as opposed to other years like the FaceBook and going to come here so.

It really shows you how heavily on social media and the Internet and new in your.

Generation that's so different from even when when I was growing up because you -- -- editing videos right on your own personal computers right.

Now.

Yes and you you seem to be really interested in in in not part of it I mean it's so different from my first job in television.

They were just getting rid of typewriters.

-- it yes so.

You know completely different in the way the business -- has changed.

So you are all in this new technological sort of evolution where a lot of the jobs are gonna be right.

-- can you believe that you're almost a graduation what's the date.

May 2800 and coming out.

Top -- their heads and my daughter is in third grade at this school and and one of the great things at the little girls get to do.

In second and third grades that they -- flower girls at the graduation ceremony.

This -- said that surprisingly one in the saddest parts of the graduation ceremony is when the flower girls actually.

Walk away friend like thinking here flour and then they go back to it.

You know -- and a lot of seniors last year surprisingly said that was in the sentimental part of the books -- LA yeah I never edit that will pretty soon he'll I think they'll have this lunch where you get to me.

Your particular.

Flower girl and you do an activity together I know I volunteered at it last year -- I mean the flower girls right you cards and and that sort of thing so.

This is an all girls school and it's a wonderful academic institution where you all applying to college as the wrap up question.

I know it that also changed since since my -- I only applied to three colleges.

I know that's changed so tell me warrior fund I saw actually deciding where I'm gonna go but most likely and way you.

Wonderful kind.

I'm going to do.

I'm going to Penn State.

Wonderful I'm going.

And I'm going to Hamilton College in a senior.

Sounds great right I went to Stamford far away because I grew up in Minnesota and you could study under a palm tree.

In the middle of February.

Well congratulations all of you I hope and I wish you much success in whatever you choose to do and thanks for coming to see what I do on a daily basis happening.
