It's kind of crazy out there.
That's eight season and now hundredth -- is coming up this next Tuesday night yeah and again this season there's something interesting happening here -- Of catch.
He's cut by almost half isn't the deal.
I can grab -- was -- was cut in half why.

It's it's -- you know it's a stock.
Ebbs and flows there's rises and falls right now that is the quarter.
National Marine Fisheries and lasted upon the fish -- game work together to monitored.
The catch and see where it's -- mention resource stays sustainable so what are they citing scarcity of the blue crab.
Com -- -- could have accidentally grab the blue crab quotas actually up this year -- but the king crab quota has dropped some.
So you're gonna go for the blue.
I want from both.
Don't after -- -- did.
How tough is it to survive economically doing what you're doing and then you get hit with this.
You know you can project.
From season to season you have a -- a crowd -- you have a lol you have another cohort there five to seven years apart so you really need to.
Tried to basically tighten your belt and -- seasons.
And then try to build an essay during the bigger seasons and so we're constantly.
Now doing this.
Talk to -- we're gonna play some video here to talk to us about what we're gonna seed by the way the premieres Tuesday April 10 9 PM eastern on discovery.
But look at what we're seeing out here caucus about what you do.
Well you know that's that looks like a day at the office to make.
It's it looks like hell to me.
I mean these are the most extreme conditions.
From the weather to -- -- to everything we're going through and -- you know working in close quarters with lot of guys long hours.
Yes it's a difficult job on me and it's severe that is a real job and it's a real dangerous job there it's how I watch your show.
Usually sit in -- -- -- bottom in a warm.
You guys look where -- freezing out here you're giving lashed.
By heavy winds the boat is rocking there's work rein in and -- from this.
There's days when I wonder how I do it as well you know what we just work our way through.
Sometimes I'm just every day just every hour but you know within -- day hopefully we're back on dry land for.
Safe and sound and -- you know when we've had a good year -- hopefully make some money in the process what's the -- injury out there.
There isn't a -- worked on a -- for over a year that doesn't have some kind of injury I mean they're they're pretty constant -- mostly you know you try.
We hope that they're not that bad I mean periodically have something major occur.
You know I mean I think -- just that helicopter -- I mean I've been doing this 26 years now I've never had a guy lifted off my -- Really this year I got lifted the and a sell and what happened.
From.
Well this is say we -- we had a medical emergency and it got to the point where we.
You know doing everything we could you.
To sustain this guy we could do enough and so the Coast Guard you know.
Luckily was in a position where they can come out and and get the cast my vote.
Want to play a clip let's take a listen.
One year -- It was -- -- the day.
-- Yes or no is he okay.
Yeah.
-- -- Now you know the scary thing about kind of thing -- Watching the show myself is like you know I'm I'm too from a different angle picture and so to me it's all -- -- that's all you know a lot of stuff -- forget but -- You know the one thing that when I -- so much -- kind of just gives me the chills because I mean when we take away if it's literally.
The first thing you do count heads right is everybody still way to and then you started.
Trying to figure out if everybody's you know one piece.
You guys can be gone in a second which is -- for reasons why.
You know I keep watching you know see what's gonna happen next all right it's again doesn't change -- -- it's as a fisherman myself -- -- every putt that breaks the waterworks that mirror.
On pins and needles anticipating that -- coming up and openness for -- you look for you look great for a guy who's -- -- -- who is much.
Bad weather and horrible conditions is -- on your show.
Twenty years old yet.
Yeah.
It's okay -- need to -- This high school.
