Pat Nixon was an active First Lady.
She visited more than eighty countries including China which sent those to panders to the US.
And she is credited with doing more to fill the White House -- American treasures than any First Lady except Dolly Madison.

As for -- she married David Eisenhower grandson of the president in 1968.
44 years later they have three children and a granddaughter.
