Florida north Koreans has been in the pipeline -- while.

As your last report indicated this is the hundredth anniversary of the founder of North Korea Kim Il sung and this is supposed that the north we've been telling.

Everyone who will listen this is going to be a year of strength and prosperity.

And so that's the big show.

It was scheduled here for -- while the -- -- stuff on and off back and forth.

We may not even get to those talks this week there's a chance they might be postponed but I think it's more coincidence.

Than anything -- -- let's chill a little bit -- North Korean out of we have a little bit of a global perspective on this -- Jim.

It as some are suggesting is great -- reporting that this is a precursor to.

Nuclear tests you mentioned the year of strength and prosperity can -- to -- there but what about the prosperity -- -- the North Korea be choosing to do that's.

Well again not a lot of prosperity so there therefore you know you can make up more with the big shows of strength.

And national events you know.

I I would it's not a guarantee that they're gonna have a nuclear test but we have seen a pattern in the past where we've had missile test followed by nuclear test.

And and frankly though when the missile -- happens -- the international community's gonna condemn it they're gonna push back.

And then North Korea will probably feel compelled to respond to -- at a nuclear test would not be surprising under those circumstances.

So then what happens.

Then if there's -- put him back and forth then why.

Well you know then what is there ain't gonna be any talks they're going to be no six party talks.

Everything gets pushed off into.

Tony thirteen or later and I think that's bad news what I think it's bad news is because when the north Koreans are talking and at the negotiating table they tend to be better be saved.

And now we have a young leader a twenty something year old who's trying to consolidate his position -- taken time to do that.

You know and send -- the chance for miscalculation.

Or accident I think.

Is that that means -- -- in to Tony thirteen a with more possibilities of things going wrong so that I think that's the consequences we don't have any real negotiations -- a year.

We can't forget that we had tens of thousands of US troops right there and in South Korea.

Japan and South Korea have both said if -- -- slash satellite whatever it is drifts into their territory they're gonna shoot it down in North Korea says -- they do that.

And that's going to be an act of war.

So what do you -- -- -- Jenna you put your finger on what I think is the most important thing I don't think very much of this missile now we're gonna watch it we're gonna have a lot more data this week about whether to Begin or not but it doesn't have a modern -- system.

And it's liquid fueled.

Let's look sort of a sitting duck from a military standpoint of I'm not impressed by the missile but I am impressed by -- risk here I do worry that this thing's gonna go wobbly like the last two tests it could come down veer off.

Into foreign territory and maybe be shut down and any -- young inexperienced leader who's trying to consolidate its position with the military saying we have to respond.

How's he gonna respond to that.

I am concerned about that so I hope we can get through this next week without incident.
