The news today that the White House is pumping an extra 500 million dollars to the IRS.

To help it implement the health care law or more specifically the mandate piece of the health care law.

The IRS is in charge of several key parts of the -- including enforcing the individual mandate meaning if you don't pay it guess who comes after you.

Not just that they have to -- make sure that low income folks get the credit they deserve to block.

Of course that mandate is under review right now by US Supreme Court -- could be getting thrown out all together so that begs the question.

What exactly are they going do with that 500 million dollars at the individual mandate gets thrown out.

Putting that question Lou Dobbs host of the dobbs tonight a Fox Business Network and he's also a syndicated radio host are -- loose so.

In that the five.

It's department of human services officers as gets.

A billion dollars from President Obama.

-- that the mandate is do with it as you see fit but absolutely they saw fit to give half a bit to the IRS.

They're hiring a bunch of new agents to enforce the individual mandate.

Won't find out in June whether the individual mandate is constitutional -- -- -- I think just waits.

Until then before they spend half a billion dollars -- taxpayer money it's not constitutional.

And is having to enforce.

Negative you forgotten the newest Obama administration.

Slogan we can't wait they're moving ahead -- respect -- they really -- that.

In this one instance they do at least.

Moving ahead like this is irresponsible is it it's truly silly.

The Internal Revenue Service.

As you know will have to ads over 161000 agents just to enforce the mandate and all the other aspects of obamacare.

This is an extraordinary enforcement.

Requirement.

41 is -- Yale law aimed at patient care it it's the farthest thing from.

Have to make us right absolutely they say mandate we need mandate they mean yeah it's not much of a mandate if there -- an an enforcer.

And and there's no enforcer appears.

For HHS because they're taking a -- the Republicans caller I billion dollar slush fund carving off first 200 million which they've already given the Internal Revenue Service now HHS -- -- IRS right and another 300000.

I didn't know -- 300 million.

And the purpose of that of course is to make it easier to give away the money.

That is yet to come.

But here's what concerns me about the HHS they were given a billion dollar implementation fun to write for the health care law.

Saddam will act to set up this whole.

It's state by state insurance exchange that people are gonna get coverage from that they don't have employer sponsored coverage of the -- where they just gave away half of their money.

Well half of a billion is really not much so it HHS going to be able to do -- it's supposed to be able to do for a 500 million dollars.

-- And nor was -- ever -- ever any intent that they would be able to.

We have seen the price of obamacare rise first from the 940.

Billion dollars that the original law that was passed.

That was the original projection that it rose above -- trillion dollars and a one point according to the Congressional Budget Office which just revised -- to less than two months ago.

21 point 79.

Trillion dollars now the Senate Budget Committee has already revised.

-- -- -- should remember.

But this law as an indoor -- Senate Budget Committee is already put -- the cost up again to two point six trillion committee run by Democrats that's a committee run by Democrats and it's the you're the the analysis is by the Republican staff but it -- on rebutted that and and on refuted.

What you you -- we can't win because you know it does -- for spending 500 million dollars and taxpayers' money on IRS agents and for an individual mandate we should find out whether that mandate is constitutional for they're not going to be.

We heard an instructor for the mandate though is that the -- the IRS it is to the -- but in this instance it is to assure that tax credits move to low income people under obamacare.

For their comfort what I read is there this is the hire new agents right this is hired but now that's a separate issue and that's a fourth bringing another 4000 agents as part of that sixteen -- -- that they were estimated to need.

That's an enforcement aspect of this is it possible that -- this is legit they're gonna need this money to be the IRS -- the mandate is struck down or upheld by the Supreme Court.

The word -- It has to be stretched when we start talking about a law that was.

-- -- just over two years ago and that is already tripled -- cost and has yet to go into effect.

Lou Dobbs it's interesting thank you sir great to be --
