Look at -- emerging more and more as its place of race for the White House heats up an argument -- a fair deal as a president calls it -- the Republican argument.

For lower taxes less regulation and less government.

As likely to be the defining conversation really of the race and listen to the present is speaking about this yesterday.

What -- right -- was calling for that is the same thing there were calling for now.

Return to basic fairness and responsibility.

Everybody doing their part.

Well this conversations also part and a new report by Steve Moore.

Art Laffer and John Williams called a rich states -- states in joining us -- Steve -- He's a senior economics writer for the Wall Street Journal has about busy busy Steve with severe projects here are -- Dennis for the last couple years what is this year's research tell you.

Well -- I have some bad news for both you and John -- -- for the fifth straight year a New York is the the worst economic environment to work in in terms of its taxes and regulations and -- It's it's it's been consistently in last place California by the way.

Is also one of the -- worst places -- data has some of the highest taxes on businesses and and individuals in the country in that you've got states like Maine and Rhode Island.

That the places you do want to move to by the way are.

Are places like up South Carolina Arizona Utah which have very business friendly environments at what we found John is guess what the jobs are going to the places that have the most stuff.

Conducive environments for off low taxes less regulation our business probably.

At receiver a little -- -- time because and his breaking news but how do you know that when people move you know from let's say New York to a place like you mentioned Arizona.

Are you Todd are not moving for other reasons besides his regulation or taxation.

You -- to say that people might move to Arizona are for the weather or other kind of -- accident while -- a brother has a big win big is a big factor on where people move but when -- even adjust for those kinds of things.

You find that -- a lot of the jobs a lot of the migration is moving to those are low tax states and it's important.

Ties into what the president's been talking about because a lot of these states like new York and California and Maine and Rhode Island and New Jersey actually have.

Buffett types of rules in place and doesn't work very well what rich people do is they just move -- of those places the places like Florida and Tennessee.

You didn't have enough time we look for to have -- back to talk more about this and having a more.

A broad conversation is important topic and we appreciate it thank you sounds good thank you.
