So how do you what -- you decide to chronicled this particular team in hockey get started well.

You know most sports documentaries there about what you know the drive to the championship yeah I know that everybody's seen cheers for the underdog and I think that brings everybody to get that.

If so what this one I mean my co director -- Iraq -- We we read article on the New York Times about this the school on this team that had won a game and over two years.

And immediately we were trying to it and thought what an interesting idea for documentary and they -- The other -- is I guess at less than 500 in the that a third smallest high school in Indiana the -- schools that are 1020 times.

The size of -- -- a real life modern day hoosiers of the way we described it so initially we went down there to do a sports documentary.

And sort of just being in the town -- there for seven and a half months filming and being in the -- we started to realize that it was.

Really about more than that you know and it was about this town that was really struggling to survive trying to hold on to their school home.

Trying to deal with a lot of things that have been really mounting -- last 2030 years school consolidation.

You know there was a plastics factory -- brick plant.

That had left.

And really just a town that was.

Really just.

Trying to survive and this basketball team that was sort of a metaphor for that those trying to compete.

With these larger schools he's looked larger communities as you know that have done on trends his band.

People leaving -- small towns to go to bigger bigger cities and that was something that we really wanted to explore in the movie and I think I think we did.

And and we use when someone.

-- -- where -- we go again to see the stuff later.

You want to distribution or some exactly so you can have people coming give and and and you give up -- so for.

For our film we're given -- T -- we don't -- signed basketball's.

We're given away the dvd obviously depend on how much you give.

Although initially we wanted to raise 181000 dollars for post production myself and dating we put in our own money with our.

Really talented.

Assistant director -- counts we all put in our -- You know putting our money into this culture and so we we -- we needed them the funds to finish the film break and we thought this was a good way to do it and we've been just totally blown away by the responses.

We've done so basically mean that to make it simple though it is easier -- if we go to majora film dot com don't take -- -- -- ticket -- -- where you can donate to try to you know -- these guys to attempt to finish the post production on this.

Because the reason why you want this out and he is he say he went there was first about a basketball team that was nine you realize that -- something big here.

-- -- -- so what is the take away for someone it's beyond basketball -- -- What's the take away with someone watches this film eventually what do you licences.

You know that the we've all who have been hearing about you know manufacturing leaving and things like that but the way it's affecting small towns.

-- that's -- it really wasn't an overnight thing.

It's something that's been happy -- you know 102030 years so it's not something.

We -- we wanted to ask the question are these small towns we're saving is it worth thinking about what these small towns -- mean to the country.

And one of things I realize when I was there that small town America it's not just a place.

It's it's a way of thinking -- -- state of mind set it's helping your neighbor you know it's everybody has a place in their community.

And as people are leaving these towns and going to bigger cities there's something I think you know being lost and saw I don't have I don't pretend to have the answer.

You know and -- it's just awareness it's one of the yeah a lot of sparks through their thought process about exact level people to think of Mary -- yeah okay.
