Personal story segment tonight the latest on the trade on Martin's story George -- in our accused of second degree murder appeared in Florida court today -- this new lawyer.
No plea no bail request paralegals will -- and another hearing next week before another judge.
This now Sabrina Fulton -- on Martin's mother and her lawyer Benjamin.
For some of talk with you missile minority and everybody on my staff feels the same way we're sorry you have to be here we're sorry you have to go through this and and -- have -- -- I can imagine the pain that you go through you know the sun is there one day and the next thing he's -- so I think all Americans.
Are feeling your pain.
And we all want justice in the case.
-- I said that.
From the very beginning I don't know whether you know it certainly counts across the house we just called for calm.
All right we will we used to let the system work let's not convict -- -- on television let's not make these wild charges but a lot of people didn't follow my advice.
They did.
And I said -- -- -- some of them should apologize like reverend Sharpton.
Was I wrong to say that.
I don't know the circumstances behind did calm but he -- also promotes peace home we've never asked for anybody to do anything out of the ordinary we wanted to have peaceful rallies and peaceful protests this.
And we we're we're not.
It's so important you -- -- anything.
You yourself and you and -- onslaught are absolutely had been magnificent venue and so is your lawyer you've called for restraint.
But others have basically whipped up emotion and you can see it around the country I don't know -- you follow the news -- -- been very incidents around the country where people got hurt.
Our emotions are high.
The polling is crazy.
33% of white Americans feel -- Zimmerman didn't do it and 90% of black Americans feel he didn't do it.
Which says that the television media here he's whipping up this thing I'm calling for restraint.
And I think that Sharpton should apologize to some of things he set.
And you want me to comment on that and I don't know everything that's behind it I haven't been watching a lot of didn't whose and I haven't been watching everything.
That everybody has been -- so I'm not sure.
You know what it -- -- as fair -- what would you say counts.
Counselor problem reverend Sharpton.
And you should probably discussed that I think one of the things -- -- -- Is you.
Had -- forward -- that helped count rallies and demonstrations.
Just to give them listed because we've always felt that.
And that not happen they were never going Marie Zimmerman that.
You really believe that don't are from -- -- I never believe that I thought the state of Florida would do the right thing I really did I the locals.
Locals I don't know Sanford Florida I mean you guys -- Floridians I don't know Sanford.
You might be right here but the -- second fairly quickly and took it over and and once that I -- and the feds went down to.
The state took over about 27.
Days into the good -- you -- probably if someone killed your child who was unknown and they didn't arrest them and told -- they weren't gonna arrest them 27 days later.
-- -- through the roof and I do exactly what this Fulton did exactly I'd go public I'd say this is wrong what we need -- and so I don't have any -- there at all what I have a beef with -- -- in Zimmerman on TV and -- that's what I have a beef with him.
And misfortune has always say it.
If you want to Zimmerman to have his day in court.
Right now.
You're gonna be there I assume every day that that -- we have all right so if at the end of the trial Zimmerman is found not guilty because of this.
Quirky law that stand your ground.
And you.
See that it was a fair trial.
DC with all the emotion running through you that you've come out and say hey got a fair trial -- a possible it's part is quite possible I believe in the judicial system and I believe that he can get a fair trial.
Okay so.
ED I -- it so once a burden on you though I don't know how you're gonna get through that.
And how you're gonna sit there and do well how did I get through my son being murdered in a person walk for 44 days I know -- you're gonna have to relive this through this trial.
Wrote I believe in the judicial system and I believe that he -- give his team and his day in court he can plead his case OK you're going to be a wet.
-- -- here where -- -- has tremendous strength she quote I heard that yesterday have a lot of faith in god which is really important stuff like this.
All right look let me just tell you this if during a trial counsel you see something that you don't think is right.
-- -- because what I don't want is that whatever the verdict may be I want the American people just like you said useful to access the system to accept the verdict.
But if you see -- -- -- -- right as it's unfolding.
Please let us know all right so that we can deal with it before the verdict comes down.
They're not us -- very and I wanna thank you ran your show and a lot of people for.
-- by the state column I think that's so important.
And it's one of things Sabrina says this shouldn't be and when she wishes she really not be about justice.
Absolutely they were all Americans here.
Nobody wants a seventeen year old son shot down industry.
And I don't join -- Zimmerman side nobody wants to see mr.
Zimmerman doesn't wanna see his son.
Life ruined because of this so this is a tragedy all the way around us and we got a handle it with the utmost restraint this.
I compare our condolences again useful to thank you for coming in and you're always welcome -- program cancers standup guy you know anything you've got to come right to marriage sort of I remember -- -- are preparing --
