I just -- say -- -- -- the coach of the twins you know.

And then.

And then I got a response.

For Logan Hastings and the manager of the twins it really.

Given that simply he fired one to me I answered it and we've been.

Got to Chet never sensible what happened between -- email a few years ago -- now seen Logan out shaking batting practice.

-- hanging on the dugout -- stretching out with -- hour.

Is a far more complex journey.

It's kind of like he's my second father you know we just.

Ever since -- deploy we start talking.

Logan a lifelong twins fan who grew up in New Hampshire and is based in Kentucky.

Said his -- this is he was being deployed to Iraq in the army.

This soft spot for -- who grew up as an army -- we've got a pretty good over here and there's a reason when Logan got back in 2010 is when he was first invited to target field -- guardians -- -- got to toss out the first pitch.

But he was about to be deployed again so guardian gave him a gift.

Sent back to Afghanistan I gave my -- and I told -- -- condition and you -- the -- activists.

You brought it back the other day showed -- -- -- had a lot of dust on it.

When he gave -- the glove he didn't know that.

-- that was gonna take that glove.

And keep it basically.

Everywhere he went and when he was hit over there by the big IE -- back eleventh right here.

And it has.

IED dust on it.

And now he was able to return with regard he's -- -- show -- -- his purple heart.

Getting the thanks from players through what he's done a VIP guests through these first three home games.

There are a lot of soldiers like Logan but guard is helping this particular one keep.

It just speaks a lot of Ron -- higher as a person.

He's real and they knew the open up a lot to him and hear different things and -- me years to see you know put -- Put -- smile -- -- face.

When Logan gets his medical discharge some time next year he's gonna move back to the Twin Cities he says that we can -- on the twins in person and his dream job would be to work.

Right here at target field on the grounds crew.

And I think he's got some connections to maybe make that happen.
