It's it's a very serious epidemic when you look at this statistics and what's going on in this country over the last ten years it's frightening.

Drug overdose has surpassed motor vehicle accidents as the number one cause of accidental death in this country.

Part of the problem is I think people think these drugs are safe because there.
But they're just as dangerous as the legal illegal drugs -- does -- and if you don't take them properly.
Well and I guess the question you know we've seen high profile celebrities like Matthew Perry of friends coming out -- saying that he became addicted to prescription medications.
After he went in for some of legitimate.
And that the doctor prescribed him some pain killer.
And didn't really given any warning about how dangerous this drug might be and how incredibly addictive it might be.
And sure enough he started popping them like candy and eventually developed a problem and he feels and many others that doctors need to get -- kind of let.
Warning when they're prescribing used it for a legitimate pain management purpose.
I think you're absolutely correct what you have to recognize is that eighty to 90% of positions in this country.
-- had no formal training in the use of these medications.
And that obviously pose a problem because they're not aware of how to manage these properly.
Of our national society the American -- -- international paying positions has been pushing with and some federal agencies to mandate well.
Physician training in the use of these medications if you have a DA licensed.
There is a balancing act and not make that too much in the in terms of training and to not -- An undue burden to positions but you also need -- have some basic level of training.
There was some legislation that was -- discussed last year.
And and I can tell you that the Office of National Drug Control Policy is still working with a number of a legislative offices to try and bring alleges.
