What should be happening now in the Security Council.

Well in in an ideal world the Security Council would -- force resolution that it RD pass there are two Security Council resolution that it passed before including with China and Russian.

I guess participation in some way not that -- and everything from luxury goods to military aid to missile and nuclear testing.

So North Korea's already violated those which means in the news with a follow up action or punishment.

The problem with the sanctions always been that China has always.

Broken some commitments and allowed on massive amount of international.

Weapons trade and also individual aid and fuel from China to North Korea to go in which frankly probably -- to pay toward this task.

So it doesn't really matter what they passed it matters that they actually enforce what they -- So I wouldn't be incredibly impressed if China comes along with some stronger than we thought language because I know this turn -- and -- -- money through its border that we never see anyway.

So well what about the US reaction and Steve the US decides to withhold food aid monetary aid if Federer does not have an impact.

It does bigger impact than even with holding things as to.

A prevent North Korea from getting access to illicit funding.

It would have been better if they kind of kept quiet and then didn't mention anyone -- in the last time until they didn't talk about it.

Another this and they had to publicly acknowledge it because they were they had invited recruit foreign journalists to go on site sent -- pictures of lunch rooms and all that.

Some so they kind of a vague on their faith and it's perfect timing from the outside perspective because this was both speaking doing.

The new leaders kind of crowning achievement he just got.

And it's clear under his leadership didn't really work out.

So it's obviously an embarrassment for him enough for North Korea in general before hand we had all kinds of experts saying we're gonna be studying this launch we're going to be examining all the data that comes from -- so that we can assess.

Where they are where they still need to go and how long it might take them before they are able to launch a nuclear attack obviously that's the big question we had an expert on.

Candidates saying for years so it gives them for years.

In the wake of this failure is there any change in those assessments I would say there's reason to be more optimistic in terms of how long it'll take them it's better for everybody else but even a broken clock is wrong twice today and we can just leave it up the chance at some other get a writer by the technology or bring in foreign scientists.

What's -- done plenty of times to eventually get it right these guys and made their intentions very clear they want.

I think specifically when people say the UN is useless they're talking about Security Council -- the way it works you know whenever you have a veto vote by.

Countries like Russia or China they can just.

Keep things off the table entirely right you don't feel like talking about it is it's hard to have really have.
