Your grandfather was one of the survivors and his story is told right here.

That's true my grandfather my great grandmother survived my great grandfather passed away on the -- What does it mean -- you were a hundred years to the day from when this happen any any different feelings come to you today than at other times you're -- Well you know I never gave a lot of thought.

Something clicked in my mind my cousin and my brother and I used to say that we are survivors also and I got to thinking about then it's true.

I look at not -- the celebration or remembrance of a disaster plaza rebirth of our family because that.

My grandfather had not made a lifeboat we're not.

Be here today did an amazing story and he was nine when he got on that settled in Detroit end.
