How high -- how are you know.

I -- good thank you you know I saw you this morning on FOX & Friends and and it's great that you're making the rounds today because.

When you have a family member or friend and I have lost to -- friends to breast cancer.

You want to be as supportive as he can -- -- survivor and -- taking the time beyond your own care and you're doing great I'm so thrilled.

To tell women that -- someone they can talk to that you wish -- known about.

It's hard because sometimes someone close you hear is something different from the doctor are they they don't know what to say in terms advice.

What is it that these women can offer at -- me.

-- they can provide on some level a distance that maybe someone.

Who.

You love a friend or family member can't quite provide they have their own not their own agendas that they themselves are afraid and they can answer these questions and they.

Have their own fears about how to talk to you about it the people on the other end of this hot -- are people who have been through it specifically what you're going through you know.

And side effects of drugs or what it feels like various stages of the treatment.

And they have no agenda besides helping you get through it telling you what it's like and telling you this you know there's another side to a when you.

And -- there and something like this doesn't come without a cost how did this idea come together and who's the kind solar souls that is making this service available to women I assume it's free.

It's free yes -- the organization's been around for thirty years and I have not I had not heard of it until it was brought to my attention recently.

And I -- as I said I I truly wish I had known had been able to take advantage of it when it was there.

And so for people to get involved if they want to support the cause -- would be fantastic it's Y me dot org and you can find out how to be a part of this and how to help it continue.

And on the off chance -- their people listening who didn't know about it in the same situation I was.

Take advantage of their services it's there for the taking and the fact that.

You know.

Huge numbers of people don't even know it exists is ridiculous so I'm here to tell you can't go to the website find out more about it take advantage of what they have to offer it's invaluable for sure because a lot of times your doctor might be a man.

And there may be certain questions that you have that you want to ask a woman it seems to me this is the perfect vehicle for that because all sorts of things.

Above and beyond this year.

Must come into play how to tell your children how does make clubs here man right all those are things that ready willing to address.

Right.

Well absolutely.

Every every aspect of getting diagnosed with breast cancer and there are many can be asked this anonymous service.

And it really is -- -- prime mission.

All about support about emotional support and as you said even the doctor if the doctors a woman.

They can tell you what it says the textbook in what it was like under a microscope but in -- they have.

Been up in the middle of the night trying to deal with the side effect from the medications they're on they really don't know and with all due respect -- it is not the same is having.

But on the other end of this diagnosis.

-- -- -- Look I'm a huge fan of nurse Jackie I have to be honest with you if you hear it if you -- thank you are I mean The Sopranos was amazing you but this particular show.

Really takes us inside it raises an issue that's important because health care workers are under enough stress now they will be under more when they're asked to take on more patience for less reimbursement whatever right but your personal mission with respect to saint Vincent's hospital which is hearing new York and service a neighborhood.

That is growing and -- -- five and now it's complete and they would have receiving hospital on 9/11 the doors are closed at the hospital -- shot heard and I know you personally wanna see any health care come back to the neighborhood.

Why is that important have you.

-- Little -- -- I've been a resident of downtown New York for thirty years and you know long before I had insurance if my ear hurt or did something wrong with me I would I would sit -- Emergency room at saint Vincent's and I would be treated and there are a million people in the downtown area residents visitors tourists every day.

And they can go to these urgent care centers but in fact is -- two -- there and there's no no specialists went neurosurgeons are surgeons who connects to -- what's wrong -- you.

You get into an ambulance at that point be taken to a hospital which is.

You know it's it's literally life and death so it's ridiculous to me that there is in the hospital for those of us who call blood downtown Manhattan home.

I'm not sure that that situation can change I think they want to build condos or something down there everybody -- got special interest yes.

But I knowing that -- in that neighborhood so good me just ask you that -- asked Jackie.

She's in rehab.

Right now I -- RO act according to that last episode that I was able to watch.

I I don't senior there I mean she's gonna -- -- problem.

But.

She just she does such great work with patients it's almost like house you have a skill and you have a talent and now I'm watching you.

-- -- -- -- rehab workers as she can make it out of this something where you don't.

Addiction is addiction is not.

Fun and it's not funny and that.

You know -- -- would yes it's like this she can -- drugs and work but eventually it gets it's gonna get lopsided because it just -- that's the nature of this disease.

That it will eventually.

Get the better view and you know was -- many secrets as you can.

People over time did it there's no way it won't catch up to you so.

You can hear in rehab or the joke and go up here -- she's dead.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- a hot -- I mean but there -- certainly money needed to to keep that going a certain technologies that are in use it's available and lots of different languages and so support you might want to give to Y -- dot org is gonna go directly to a woman in the middle of the night was just diagnosed you can call somebody else you.

Act and speak personally to someone who's been through it that's what -- -- dot org it's about.

I can't imagine what this will mean for so many women and men too let's not forget men get diagnosed with breast cancer as well I'm sure they can -- their wives do and yes absolutely it's a hugely important service -- what and honored at meet you even through satellite.

I'll have a great don't say well let's.

Thank you thank.
