Well right now the -- is trying to get to the bottom of the spending scandal rocking the General Services Administration we've been watching this drama.

Play out that's the federal agency under investigation now after blowing almost a million of your taxpayer dollars on a lavish Las Vegas conference Jeff nearly the GSA executive behind the -- spending spree.

-- his wife along some pictures that you can see that his wife posted on on a social media website -- you could see them enjoying their luxurious hotel suite.

And there he is relaxing in a hot tub with a couple of classes of maybe some degree of behind him not sure what that is we yet who took that photo right his wife probably don't get that.

She was there yesterday he was a no show all on the hot seat on Capitol Hill refusing to testify at a hearing there one day.

After taking the fifth repeatedly at a different hearing lawmakers.

Not hiding their outrage at this seemingly out of control and over the top spending.

And -- the American public.

Can see why this committee so frustrated.

I hope the administration I hope the new GSA administration.

Is seeing how frustrated the American public knows.

Lot has been talked about in the media about this lavished expensive.

Las Vegas and it is inexcusable.

Definitely calmer and I should point out that is because.

The two guys that are testifying today.

Are those who -- responsible for kind of cleaning up the mess the new acting administrator of the GSA and also the inspector general.

Who investigated the massive GSA and so not the people who are necessarily responsible.

War.

What they're looking into at this point a short time ago the chairman of this hearing.

Set the -- And makes me cringe for the good people -- GSA.

Who worked so hard every day and -- being humiliated.

By a few bad actors.

To those who betrayed the public trust let me be clear the party's over.

It's over because of TSA inspector general Bryan Miller.

And so that set the tone essentially they're looking at ways forward with the GSA and how to make sure this never happens again right.

So many things to get angry about in this story Michael one of the biggest things.

That people are asking one of the biggest questions is what took so long to find out that this was going on and to get it stopped.

Well that's right and Jeff really the executive you mentioned who is enjoying days week in Las Vegas at the top.

He was traveling up until as recently as a month ago on the taxpayer dime.

The inspector general explain the problem is essentially you're dealing with a huge organization you're also dealing with.

People's reputations and their careers so you have to tread carefully Gaza City every time he lifted a stone.

There were other things under those stones -- so it turned out to be a huge investigation but we did hear some its frustrations of frustration about.

Why this took so long.

They conference took place and on October of 2010.

And then the whistle blower asked for the NIG investigation a month later.

It was reported back in May of 2011.

That what was going on and and that was enough time to investigate.

And then -- -- White House this -- the beginning of June.

And so that is why a lot of people are feeling frustration they feel like this it's been.

Going through a process for very long time but perhaps that is the nature of the bureaucracy.
