News again and we learned a short time ago and confirmed just seconds ago that the legendary TV host and producer Dick Clark.

Has died at the age of 82.

Dick Clark is an absolute hero of the industry he hosted American Bandstand from 1956.

To 1989.

The show moved from WF file and Philadelphia to the ABC network way back in 1957.

And became an after school staple for a generation of teenagers he introduced the number a number of recording artists first TV appearances.

Dick Clark was the first to bring us such little loans as Buddy Holly.
