Greta it's the third day of hearings into the lavish spending at the GSE this time before two Senate Committees.
Testifying were inspector general Bryan Miller in acting administrator -- -- -- early.
How -- restore the americans' faith and in government in the GSA after -- something like this happens but it's a it's a great question and that's that's one of the biggest challenges we face and I think by looking at the agency from top to bottom.
We can come up with solutions they'll help us make sure we've we've run better.
It's an average I mean when you think about this.
Terrible waste of taxpayers' dollars what bothers me even more than -- of dollars was this obvious culture.
Orange cover cowboy culture we do what are we want on this and we want we -- accountable.
That's gonna change and the new people who were here -- heads of roll let's bring new people find out there will be change.

There's going to be a lot more this investigation -- exposed to waste the fraud in the abuse of the American people really resents so much.
This hearing isn't about uh oh where this wasteful conference took place it's really about arrogance and abuse of power.
What is it about the structure.
Of the GSA.
That leads us back to these scandals after this -- -- in other words.
The expression is fool me once.
You know OK but again and again.

Here's Richard Nixon used to say to people who don't make mistakes -- people don't do anything.
My father used to say just use some common sense and I think what happened here is common sense was -- used.
And leadership by example certainly was not -- person.
Something went -- -- -- wrong here you know in in the normal course of things.
There is typically -- checks and balances sort of process and auditing process.
The auditing process pick something up and says hey wait a -- you can't do this -- you know let's straighten this out but for whatever reason.
That was here the conduct was shocking it was wrongs wasteful taxpayer dollars we need to hold those responsible accountable.
And we -- reform GSA is a very important agency -- the federal government just.
Mind -- do you think.
That the guy who's the activists in this thing after the interim report came out in May of last year.
For the last eleven months has been to Hawaii twice decide Poland and to go on them into the Napa Valley and all these -- so.
That have a person obviously is not going to be -- that he's got to hear you rid of him we will.
This is outrageous and I have no doubt today that it is hard to convince Americans.
That they're taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.
Even without this kind of stuff but when you see this -- it just reinforces.
The understanding that so much of the money that we send -- the federal government.
Is used in ways that it isn't productive but worse -- that sometimes even criminal.
