Good morning I got home.
-- really serious situation.
Yes sir what do welcoming the US do now well I think of course the Middle -- itself is.
The real serious situation I think of this area itself -- very destabilizing factor -- And to go in now in the US -- Take out -- or my personal opinion is let's we have an exit strategy.
Of putting someone else -- for.
I think we're making a mistake to join the military action I think when you can you would diplomacy and continue that.
CNET the other countries and -- stabilization is is what's gonna happen if we don't really take a diplomatic approach.
Do you think ambassador -- we are essentially stuck.
With president a sad for this for see able future.
Well I don't think you're going to control.
Him in the way we would like forever -- a tribal society.
And that's how they've ruined it for outside democracy doesn't always we're gonna -- -- society as we say it.
And so he is the -- himself.
Because he's not one of the larger drives there and -- and we're gonna -- power he's gonna have to continue.
The brutality that he's doing now.
What's alternatives we need to negotiate Wear them.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Should spend more time doing because we don't like to deal with the people we don't want.
And then I think we need to negotiate with -- people we don't want to.
And it is everywhere we see people like that we have a problem and then and that diplomacy is the only answer.
My addressing those couple of -- -- was weighing in.
Lorie says talk is cheap actual action is what's needed king of politics said and that Assad is not going anywhere but the point -- making ambassador I guess is that.
That -- -- -- military option in Syria is just too fraught with too much danger.
And we have to find a way to tall to persuade him.
To step down is that -- -- Well yes but literally in -- we took out.
-- there and we didn't have a better grip it landed the aftermath and so when when it went and you don't forces.
Good the operation had there I had only fighters that -- never mercenaries from -- say -- -- -- Laughed a lot of all -- arms only arms about finding a way to Nigeria and Niger and -- Cheney had a chat and now they're they're going into Nigeria they've reached Somalia.
A lot of yards.
And so would destabilize.
You want to do.
You know good things we're bringing democracy we have to also look at some of the aspects.
-- protecting the back and the exit strategy we don't really prepare ourselves of that.
All right you mentioned Somalia there and we just put up a brief shot of -- website ambassador John price dot com.
You you've got an article on that now about building schools in Somalia I guess.
The the point is that education can make a difference even in this state which seems to failed as badly as Somalia.
Yes you have to look at Somalia.
As a whole.
There's you know I think it's really better destabilize Syria and the last twenty years since.
We took out where we didn't -- We we sort of helped orchestrate to take -- that Barr who -- a dictator and and so is ready stabilization there always side there's an area to -- which is.
Somaliland and it's in this area that there's been.
Democracy is taking hold there and and it's really stable area and that's -- we're concentrating right now.
At least -- my foundation that I'm working with these Somalian American fund for education schools I.
But they're building schools there and that we decided we're gonna build schools let them.
And so we have 44 class citizens into the school areas under way and we hope to.
Continue to -- further south down south of course.
Is where you had these stabilization without Qaeda and and hello -- -- and -- -- continue to happen.
Real forceful element.
South of the -- -- and I don't think that it's going to -- sure political thing I think it's gonna continue and humility.
UN forces and -- divorce isn't -- error.
I think that.
Need islamists are going to be -- for quite awhile so eventually you know.
As we maybe make headway there we should be building schools throughout Somalia.
Secular education is the only way -- the future of democracy and peace.
And human development to take place and so.
That's really.
An area that I would like to work morons like I know the area.
I did but -- Ambassador YE.
A lot of our -- is -- going to be looking at this saying why should we be going to look at an example organization like safe.
Why should we be infested -- Somalia means -- why is it important to Americans.
Work well.
Somalia as I mentioned has been destabilize.
And all it -- serious situation with humanitarian crisis the last twenty years.
Me.
-- warlords were fighting there and of course the Islamic courts union became our -- and eventually.
When they were defeated and ended 206 and horror closer to a seven -- -- shabbat dinner now.
They're -- dangerous young man and -- recruiting.
From all over the world and it recruited American Somalis to come back and -- So we need to really spend more time and educations and -- hope for the future.
Without education that are there won't be any jobs for them and then of course we need to figure out how to get stabilization -- -- I think we need to start with -- education.
We've lost the whole generation player and I think we need to start with the young children.
Wants -- border.
And and that's really.
And areas are you can't do follow Africa but you have to start somewhere and and I believe there's a chance -- and Somaliland.
And then eventually were down into Somalia as is more peaceful.
Yeah it's easy for people to look at this kind of project I guess ambassador and say.
It's really not gonna make a difference how can you change the direction in which -- -- country like Somalia is headed but you believe.
You can if you stop as he said the very beginning.
Well I think it's one.
One person at a time when he's example.
The -- home.
Abdul Mohamed who came from -- morals he was one of the most notorious.
Terrorists.
When he was a young man -- in tomorrow's.
Which is madrassas there they they had was once they're computer science and went on to Pakistan but he didn't study there yeah it open.
