Florida Phil thank you -- joining us now Florida defense attorney Jose Baez he is most famously known.

As Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose knows the inner workings of the Florida legal system.

I didn't know I thought he was just a little bit younger than me.

And I also thought I didn't know he was unarmed.

In those two statements he's giving a claim of self defense.

The prosecutor mr.

major softball that wasn't lobbed right up to a more he could have then.

Gone into his entire self the -- defense claim.

And cross examined him.

Piece by piece and really.

Really gotten an early testimony from mr.

Zimmerman.

And I'm just I'm just shocked it went down that way and also shocked that an experienced prosecutor like this miss that softball.

Because I think he wasn't ready for having we talk a lot about the prosecutor but if you look at the defense attorney mark -- you were in that kind of -- position Jose where you had a client that clearly was not well liked.

And it what is his job about and is it possible in your estimation that George Zimmermann can get a fair trial in central floor.

You know I I don't think so.

However I I like what this judge did today I think the judge made a sound decision.

Based on the law this is what any other normal person would have gotten on with this type of charge given the set of facts.

I think this judge wasn't intimidated by by the frustration of the community as well as the media.

However as far as.

Getting a fair trial here in Central Florida I don't think so.

And I don't think -- for for two main reasons one it has nothing to do with the media coverage because you can't go anywhere without hearing something about this case.

But he really has to do the -- is.

The frustration that that this communities has had to deal with with specifically the Sanford police department so I I really do think this should be tried some place else.

I certainly can't let you go Jose let asking about Casey Anthony.

You know I've who I withdrawn from that case so we have to be quite honestly it's.

It's not my position to make any any further comments based on that.
