The GSA's scandal -- spending.

Is the government's Green agenda spinning the royal scandal for taxpayers.

Hello everyone I'm Charles Payne and for Neil Cavuto.

And at 823000.

Dollars blown but it GSA in Vegas chump change.

Just this week at First Solar dimming the lights on 2000 jobs.

After getting sixteen million dollars in tax breaks and that sixty dollar -- ball that hit store shelves tomorrow and that's what.

The government paid the company ten million dollars to make them.

But the president's doubling down.

I want clean energy to happen here in the United States it's time for us to double down on way to do that is never.

A bit more promising.

It's the right way for us to put people to work right now.

Sounds like someone's chasing a bad hand what we all end up busted.

The base of the hill again today -- -- -- Can I and this scares the heck out of me because we're subsidizing his initiative -- wanting to build the Green market he's picking the companies that the private sector passed on over and over again.

Why because the the math doesn't work but he's going to foot the bill and we are at the end.

I bet I wanna talk he had because you know would that sixty dollar ball obviously I always think about it when we talk about -- Bolton.

You you have about the just an amazing assortment.

Bibles and by the way I'm jealous my wife has been trying to collect them we can't catch up to you but this is crazy isn't it I mean -- This -- agenda.

It it's did the work on nowhere left.

I am all in favor of a Green agenda -- all in favor of trying to get the earth as clean as it can be -- global warming is real and I guess in this.

I want to do whatever it takes to get the earth not to be too warm that's -- for humans and animals entries.

But the president is doing orwellian.

Thought control they're telling people what they have to do.

I think educating people about what they're -- But to try to control people's behavior try to control it down the very small details that to me is orwellian mind to go on I don't like it.

So I don't I don't know this orwellian mind control sounds like this social darwinism I'm not sure I can't I'm kind of conflicting to too but certainly.

You know after all these scandals after all of the -- ways than in all of these stories.

-- like maybe it's just a bad -- -- for the president to pursue this.

And I think he can probably be reelected on this platform.

Well Charles I don't know how much time I've got to to do a little bit because -- battle in the provision that would that we're giving people there papers I admire the effort to match the GSA waste -- with the subject that we're discussing here since they obviously have nothing to do with each other by.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- go -- -- -- -- out of it so here's an interesting observation for you about First Solar which had layoffs because the solar market is getting.

Cream do you know why the solar market is getting creamed.

Because China has a more aggressive Green agenda then we view so we know we can't have a bullseye tonight as -- or more than we do.

At BI has also does the bad more -- in the light bulbs.

I'll just finish my point Charlie as for the light bulbs we have a long history of codes and standards for a variety of reasons including safety.

Including health including what the government various governments.

Think -- the white -- to build things and this is one of them and a lot of people would actually argue that these new light bulbs are indeed significantly more dangerous than -- thing that we're using right now but I want to go back to Charlie lot of people would argue that Mars is made of cheese but that doesn't that doesn't -- -- -- -- The move.

-- don't really -- bash thank you -- lunacy of value for so let's talk about China China is subsidizing failure.

And you know sort of command control economies can do that.

One of the great things about the market today we doubt failure fast and -- Sola panels obviously didn't do not work to the extent that people like Adam think they work as an ally if they did.

Guess what GE would be selling them.

There for every different market we're creating -- -- -- no doubt about walking into a store courses street should also point out that global warming.

What's -- it doesn't exist but the signs is still out on it it's not a total what about the size thing out on the moon made it being made -- she's right it's definitely out on that -- okay and we should point out before we end is.

On the buffet.

Tax which which went down in flames as we thank god.

One of the reasons why they wanted to do that attacks was to finance this the stuff that doesn't.

Are we gonna get really strategic right now about putting your money into jobs tax for the state they're not keep people have well they go into a Green company -- -- have -- job then I laid off they go back into it right it's all over again exposed so you wanna hear -- is that the biggest sin of -- injuries.

Adam it's -- how well whenever the hell you -- that company.

Solyndra but it's the fact that -- stimulus money.

We're getting for -- -- work the findings that pie in the sky dream of -- -- did -- work they did and I did it again.

-- up and Adam I will say the premise of this whole thing is that the GSA's scandal involved almost a million dollars.

We're talking about billions and billions and billions of dollars being -- to something that by the way.

I give these guys credit you go to these web sites of these solar companies and admit we're gonna take a billion dollars in 310 full time jobs -- -- that's that's book for you but it seems like a waste of time and money is certainly at the wrong.

You know let's talk business -- we kind of started that how many businesses can the started.

That predictable outcome would have been six that's.

And let's just -- -- a lot of logo you gotta pick and choose those though right you wanna pick and choose no well let's look at.

We got to run a business let's trust the American public let's educate them at the game in the global warming and -- -- -- dirty environment and that lets them let's let them make to -- -- -- not have command and control kind of America.

-- that that.

That's fine but we have a rich history in the united states of investing heavily in in important.

Thought themes like Blake this -- space or -- what became the Internet board the billions of dollars that goes into basic research and health care that becomes the drug industry I don't -- I -- -- -- what's going on here.

Do you want but mathematically.

-- -- return on investment expense -- you use our tax.

Hollywood doesn't want is that right now for -- -- and -- I'm gonna go on -- go to Charlie because I think one thing I don't like here's that we're actually using the word in best because I don't I don't consider these investments -- and don't listen I mean -- govern those player rolled some of these -- technologies the Internet that Al Gore -- right with -- Al -- that invented ethernet is yeah yeah I hear you quite right that the I suspect and seems obvious today that Al Gore helped invent was actually began as a military project so I mean -- leave it there is a point to be made that we need to invest some of this.

The problem the president has is that want to spend so much money.

Any masks this is he he's -- -- and that is right he's orwellian duplicitous he may ask the investment as stimulus.

As putting people to work when these are technologies.

That don't work yet nobody's gonna work they may work in the future but also yeah.

And by the way if you level with the American people it would be out.

Our wrap this up -- gone back to you -- you know you make the point obviously the government's role.

And and warning us about things that it good for us however.

That role does not extend to actually taking our money and putting it toward pet projects particularly those that are -- miserably.

Well I say the space program was a defense program really in the final analysis that's obviously the government drawl telling us like kind of like gone to use Italians look kind of -- -- -- -- that is not a defense issue at least not in the first and houses.

I thought well literally government's role.

All right we'll limit their by the way the highway program was what the defense is you also weren't perfectly working unbelievably well yeah and they they work well so.

We'll leave it there and that --
