Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the south -- And today's a much cooler day that across the southeast and what you've been experiencing over the last several weeks we're seeing temperatures are actually -- little -- -- what's typical for this time of the year.
Low sixties across the Carolina sixteen will be your high in Charlotte 61 pitch in Atlanta and Nashville and some of that cooler air making all the way down into Florida Tallahassee -- -- 775.
And Miami so the warm spot with a high at 81 degrees in as a head -- -- you can see some that cooler air as well in place across parts of Kentucky sixty won't -- -- -- -- -- well.
And 64 degrees -- out to the west in the city of Saint Louis you're gonna need to jacket early this morning.
And throughout the afternoon hours you still might need a light sweater out there with those cool temperatures and also some breezy conditions will be possible across the southeast that could make it feel a little bit cooler.
Now with the thermometer reads but the good news is that we're not really looking -- much in the -- -- precipitation.
We got hit when a storm system over the weekend produce a lot of rain over parts of Florida and also.
Georgia and the Carolinas we needed the rain -- so that was some good news aside from the fact.
That it hit us over the weekend but again high pressure pleas for -- that means you're gonna get a lot of sunshine still quiet as we head into early Tuesday morning so not expecting any promise for -- Tuesday morning commute but Tuesday it later in the -- into Wednesday -- a couple of showers -- just -- -- portions of Kentucky Tennessee and also parts.
Of Georgia -- could be dealing with some light showers.
Not a huge deal still relatively quiet stretch of weather here for the start of the work week.
Across the southeast of relatively cool temperatures that should be rebounding.
