At a major developments in Iran the state media there reporting a suspect -- cyber attack on the country's main oil export terminal.

The virus apparently hitting the Internet any communication systems -- the oil mystery.

As well as a national oil company chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge is on the story live for us from Washington -- Catherine.

What do we know about this reported attack.

Well thank you Jenna and good morning as -- experts who have been tracking cyber warfare tell fox the attack on this are running an oil facility bears all the hallmarks of a stocks -- like virus.

The same form of cyber attack that crippled one of Iran's main nuclear facilities.

This virus which some are calling wiper infected the control -- of Iran's largest crude oil export -- you see it there and the control panels are like.

The facilities central nervous system.

Certainly you -- the take over these control systems you could you get at the minimum.

You could shut everything down -- shut down the plants you can shut down whatever facility.

And -- you've gotten into.

And that's sort of the minimal damage that you could do.

Publicly the Iranians are insisting today that there's no permanent damage.

And that the system is still offering -- Hard to know the truth of course coming from from inside a hamstring Katherine any any hints -- do we have any hands perhaps that may be another cyber attack -- But being waged on Iran.

-- a good question these cyber attacks are really.

Like -- 12 punches one virus acts like a reconnaissance team.

In gathers information about the target and then the second virus capitalizes on -- intelligence per second devastating attack.

And just last month we reported here at fox that the computer virus that's believed to have gathered information for the stocks and attack in 2009.

Was active again and that stuff that virus on Iran -- and -- nuclear facility.

Permanently crippled hundreds of centrifuges used for Iran's enrichment.

It was so affected because the -- -- virus knew the exact speed it was to spin the centrifuges.

To destroy them and cyber experts tell fox.

That the code shows that -- -- du -- virus and the stuff sent virus were offered by the same person Jenna very interesting more on that is it we get a Katherine like Dick.

To get some reporting on this other story is well he heard that.

Our Ryan of course has that that US -- drone that went down in there and it within their territory we're hearing reports that they're trying to build a drone just like that.

-- what can you tell us about that.

Well former intelligence official -- told me late yesterday that it's highly unlikely.

That Iran's claims can be believed to that they really were able to reverse engineer that CIA drone.

What they said is more concerning to the US intelligence community.

Is that Iran will try and break down the drone and offer access to various parts to people like China China's important.

Because they're very interested in that stealth coating which makes it very hard if not impossible.

For the -- to be detected by radar and if you remember.

After the bin Laden raid in Pakistan where we lost that helicopter tail that had that stealth coating.

Once again the Chinese were there right away so that's really the concern not to re engineering of the CIA drone.

But that Iran will use it to offer access to people in return for technology.

Or maybe even a veto at the UN Security Council and feature a lot to pay attention to today Katherine as always thank you very much --
