It is a dirty little secret that Obama's reelection campaign wanted to keep quiet until after November now according to a report by the Government Accountability Office over eight billion dollars -- being wasted on an experimental program.

Which gives bonuses to providers private Medicare Advantage plans that meet specific targets now here's -- twist reports also indicate.

That the money is funding the program until after the election.

When a woman being guided by Obama care -- without the money this would explode just days before the general election.

And we don't know the team Obama only would want that.

Meddling with health care insurance of seniors which is a key voting group.

Is bound to hurt his reelection campaign joining me now is reaction to this a much more Florida senator Marco Rubio senator welcome back to see if good to see -- -- thank -- all right before I get to that I have to I have to punish you and and be a horrible host and and ask you about the slip of the tongue that made so much news last week if you don't mind and you'll indulge us here's what happened.

34567.

Years from now.

If I do a good job as vice president I'm sorry.

And the senator you got that right.

They might -- a good job of the senator instead of a vice president.

All have a chance to do all have a chance to do all sorts of things including commissioner the NFL which is where the real power isn't.

Yeah -- fresh but what you wanna explain that's.

But much is that it was a slip of the tongue but.

Are you -- so many times and stuff starts floating in your head fell on trust -- word you know so well that's why you know at this point.

You know Sean I I think that governor Romney -- now begun a formal process he's asked some people to do that process for him and I think we should all respect that all.

All of us who participate in politics inside and outside have been and then let them do their work and so we know are we talking about that anymore.

All right but can I ask you if if they came -- you and said we'd like to consider you.

We need you we need your help and the vetting process would you be open -- it.

Well I'm not gonna talk about anything -- to do that anymore because that is wanna be respectful of their process and so I'm bunker but down next question.

There's an inside joke behind that answer thank you very much senator all right let let me go -- -- to what we're talking about here now this is interstate.

Because a lot of the more draconian portions of Obama -- don't go into effect until after the election a lot of them starting next year 2014.

And this one provision though would go into effect just you know -- a few weeks before the election.

And admit the Medicare Advantage program now what they cynically did it is they're funneling this eight billion dollars I would even argue you could use the term slush fund.

If -- the health and human services.

To delay its implementation.

By saying it's an experiment and the experiment is what if we don't change things that's what the experiment -- So that they won't.

Feel the wrath of voters that they predict would be angry at Obama care.

What do you want to tell you react to that.

Yeah you know one of the big issues I've had -- Washington and general and the administration -- specific is about Medicare because in addition to having.

Millions of people and in the state of Florida that are on Medicare one of them as my mother.

And so to -- Medicare matters deeply and then my -- on Medicare Advantage.

Which is a program that I think is one of the few choice programs we haven't been in the public sector in the United States.

And so everything is political of this administration I mean everything is designed around the elections.

And increasingly so you're starting to see that with things like what your highlighting and the bigger problem -- Medicare is this president doesn't have a plan to save it.

Now one of the things it's gonna come on this actuarial report that comes out is it's gonna show that Medicare.

Spends more less money than it takes and it is headed towards bankruptcy we can never allow that to happen.

And -- there was real leadership from the White House there would be a sense of urgency about saving Medicare.

And instead of saving and they wanna play politics whether they wanna run ads on it there when -- attacked Paul Ryan on -- You know -- -- -- focusing on the fact that this is a very important program.

And that unless we say that we're not gonna happen.

But senator -- we just played a marquee earlier in the program and he's saying the GOP you know -- to get grandma would you mentioned the Paul Ryan lookalike and throwing.

Grandma over the cliff I mean every time any effort has been made.

To save Medicare from inevitable bankruptcy.

-- -- -- -- Because you know the pilot probably comes did the Democrats -- signaled the president himself.

Has said Republicans -- the elderly and kids with autism to fend for themselves.

So here's here's what I can't count -- do you combat that it is what it -- that we ought to tell people why this is going to be the campaign.

The reason why they say these outrageous things is because they don't want this campaign to me about the president's record.
