House -- John Boehner has a message for Republicans on his end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Don't get too comfortable he is forecasting a rough ride ahead on the way to November 2 congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel has details from Capitol Hill.

With 89 house freshman running for reelection for the first time and as many as fifty Republicans in tough races.

House speaker John Boehner issued this warning.

I'd say there's a two and three champs so we wouldn't.

Control of the house to get around but there's a one in three chance we -- to -- but I -- myself frank.

We got a big challenge we've got work to do.

Among the top places are states where presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney is not expected to be competitive and where there isn't a big senate race.

32 identified as so called orphan districts.

Eighteen of those district -- California Illinois and New York states where Democrats expect present Obama will win big and their candidates will be well.

We're never guaranteeing any thing we know the houses and play and the Republican majority is in jeopardy.

Com so we feel very good about where we are we feel good that we -- raise them we feel -- that -- candidates about raise them.

But a long time observer of the house says with Republicans holding a 25 seat majority.

The math doesn't add up to a democratic takeover.

There's a big caveat number one it's very unlikely that all the more looser -- solve the most vulnerable and number two -- Democrats are gonna lose.

Some of their own seats.

Though it's so much attention on the presidential race and Republican hopes of winning a majority in the senate some insiders say Boehner did the right thing.

I'm glad the speakers you know raise that warning flag and no personally he is.

He is focused on this a lot and and making certain its members and the party are doing everything they can't bring this bring this majority that can.

The warning warning is also likely intended to remind Republican donors to give -- house races.

One key Republican committee chairman toll today he liked the speaker's numbers because that means there's a better than 66%.

Chance of his party holding the house Brett.

-- -- -- a lot on the hill tonight -- thing.
