Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast and it's going to be another relatively cool day out here.

Across the northeast we're seeing highs only into the fifties across parts of northern New England night.

And Burlington when we're expecting high at 52 degrees 59 over in New York City but as we -- -- a little bit warmer today across portions of DC and also Baltimore 69 degrees will be your high in the DC area.

And 72 for -- south.

Across the city of Richmond Virginia and we do have some lingering moisture out across northeast today.

One of those pieces of energy that's producing some of this moisture is basically -- over Canada that's a storm system that produced a lot of precipitation.

That's for the start of the working for us across interior portions of the northeast and we're still seeing some lingering rain and snow showers out there across parts.

About -- -- -- -- some of that activity can make it into New York City later on this afternoon into this evening but it's going to be very hit or miss in nature and very light.

At that as well enough further west we have a clipper system that's moving into parts of the midwest bringing -- areas.

-- heavier rain across Wisconsin and also -- the city of Chicago and that says some.

We'll -- east -- here over the next 24 to 48 hours.

And could bring some of it's moisture into the northeast as we head into Europe on later in the day on your Jersey say you can see by Thursday morning for your commute.

We're expecting some batches of heavier rain just of the west of the DC area and southern Pennsylvania and that batch of energy will continue to move eastward -- -- parts of New York City.

Thursday into your Friday behind that system much whiter where -- looking at drier weather for the end of the -- on Friday but it will be.

Breezy out there and also feeling a little bit cooler.
