Well right now the Supreme Court is taking on a high stakes case over Arizona's controversial immigration -- as an epic battle pitting the federal government against the seeded Arizona.

And Phoenix pro immigration groups are already preparing to gather and strong opposition to the law we -- much -- bear to live with more hi William.

We'll -- you know the states the federal government have been on a collision course over immigration policy.

Four years -- to many SP 1070 is simply a symbol of how badly broken the system.

Is the last immigration reform bill we had was 1986.

Who is following that amnesty to the situation actually.

Got worse the Border Patrol was arresting them up to a thousand people a night in Arizona alone.

And it is that frustration with federal immigration policy.

That treated the voter and taxpayer backlash that lead to 1070 -- the law is on trial in Washington today.

The emotions in the conditions that created that are here in Arizona.

Today Hispanic and pro immigrant immigrant groups.

And the ACLU.

Will basically gather here to protest sevenths 1070 and like -- laws that they consider discriminatory.

And the contribute.

To racial profiling.

For our voices will be heard from Arizona is really important.

I think -- the federal administration is heading to a place extending secure communities throughout the rest of the country.

That is enacting what's happening in Arizona throughout the rest of the country in Arizona we've seen what these laws do to our communities.

-- today's rally is not likely to be as large as that 12 years ago when the bill was signed.

Supporters of the bill the silent majority if you look polls are accurate they outnumber those who oppose it by a margin of two to one.

They say of the federal -- was actually interested in enforcing immigration law not just at the border but -- the work site.

And -- cities and also with those who overstayed their visas -- than they would see 1070 is -- help.

Not a hindrance.

I think this administration is trying to have its -- you needed to.

Instead of coming forward and fully and enforce it fully enforcing and a fair manner our laws addressing illegal immigration.

I was trying to pander to a particular group as well as trying to say that they're also enforcing the laws.

Now those in law enforcement like attorney bill Montgomery.

Say that if they had the opportunity and they regret this they never had the chance to implement 1070 and the way that they say.

Is and can be respectful of civil rights laws of course the Supreme Court.

Could give them.

That chance Jenna those who oppose the bill say there will be here today to continue to basically influence public opinion because of course would have in the court.

Is irrelevant.

Or least what they do here today will not influence what happens in court in one way or another.

After humor weeks before we get that decision we'll continue to watch this story -- thank you very much.
