Hi there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean having a look.

At your highest for the northwest and in towards the northern plains today.

Some cooler -- certainly sinking in from Canada we've had.

Several storm systems moving into the west so as you can see mainly fifties some sixties.

And -- that seven in Salt Lake City east very warm across the northern plains though with 79.

In Billings across the midwest and the Great Lakes with some cooler air sinking in from Canada actually some freeze advisories up.

For parts of the midwest and the Great Lakes where temperatures are gonna dipped below the freezing mark so if you have any sensitive plants -- flowers -- -- you can bring them inside.

Or cover them up tonight.

68 in Des -- 55 in Minneapolis 76.

In Saint Louis satellite radar shows you some storms moving in across the -- -- in the Great Lakes.

For the most part we should remain dry over the next several hours.

As we head into the weekend those storms across the west will make their way eastward so Friday you can start to see some of that mountain snow across the Rockies.

And as the storm progresses eastward you're going to get mainly wet weather.

Over the midwest and the Great Lakes and eventually the Ohio River valley where we actually could -- Some snow.

I'm meteorologist Janice Dean.
