It's just the latest example of what many in the oil industry believe is a full fledged attack by the administration.

Chief national correspondent Jim Angle looks -- that part of the story.

The EPA crucify language comes as no surprise to those in the oil and gas industry.

We certainly have seen a very aggressive EPA for the last couple of years that really doesn't recognize the good environmental record that we have one oil company official recalls -- the EPA accused his company of contaminating water supplies in an area of Wyoming from fracking operations.

Each time we tested -- we couldn't find any -- gas impacts.

The state Wyoming got involved as well they also could not find any link to oil and gas production.

But someone complained to the EPA which came in and quickly -- the oil company for the bad water even though the US Geological Survey and reported natural contaminants in the water for decades.

EPA accused the company anyway just as it did in other cases where it's accusations turned out not to be true.

You've got kind of three cases where they've initially said that there's an issue with hydraulic fracturing and then have backed off refinery operators also complain about the EPA's approach saying it is killing their operation -- We -- the EPA in particular to reconsider a virtual blizzard of -- we thought out -- unnecessary rules.

Affecting our refining sector five refineries serving the East -- have closed in the last eighteen months and three lower teetering on the edge of closure why the refinery business operates on about 3% profit margins.
