Look at these happy winners and no they're not from the publisher's clearing -- Disney Fox News challenge.

Every year we offer the challenge where a college students present a fair and balanced report submitted to us somebody's going to wind up being on TV with -- great Big Five thousand dollar checks along with their college professor.

An advisor.

And -- there are so -- a sudden I got the idea forward the topic the -- shows.

Yeah I mean that this is one of the most controversial issues so we have in Montana it's really heated debates so I mean this is something that we.

Found really interesting and just wanted to open not so that everyone else could take a look at and what are you guys learn from this experience.

In wolf hunting in -- introducing you know films in what did you come away with.

Well in it was really good experience and I and I'm active in politics are on course to Clinton's campaign for governor and study wolves and and hunters so.

-- out there and really talk with people on the ground and all the from the sides and get there.

Opinion on it was really a unique experience to be able to put that together in the news -- It was didn't make you more sympathetic to the other side if you if you started with any preconceived notion -- answered expand your thinking on -- Well I mean there's there's -- -- you don't really good points on both sides of this issue on those -- -- the -- -- -- we talked to you and the issue is whether or not wolves should be hunted down and killed because their creditors while it again depends on whose side you look at you know some people don't want.

On the -- -- all somewhat to see them kind of basically taken back -- -- completely random in this and we want some kind of in between the regulated hunting seasons over the depends on.

Which perspective you have -- and one of it when we clips we ran in the broadcast show was of it looked like a farmer rancher is driving his pickup truck it is and you know I'd I'd kill one and you would -- product of somebody's first.

We're child he had -- you know it was very emotional emotional for him he had adopt held by the -- south.

You know it's it's something close to home and it's something that you know a lot of people relate to and Montana and for him it's just you know he's -- livestock killed and he's had his you know his companion animals -- Alex something very.

Very difficult very emotional for a lot of people in Montana.

Way to go -- he got a couple of kids here they're pretty good they did a lot of this on their own they did during semester break on their own time for the most part and came up did -- on their own so very proud and and had you heard about that fox is college challenge before you know I hadn't.

I heard from these guys and looked that and was very excited and then for the entry alone -- middle -- the win we are very excited -- University of Montana that is.

-- so -- doesn't do your futures.

I wanna be an international reporter and Latin America -- big dream that might as well you don't think -- had a little that sell this is a good starts now laughing.

Again that's not completely sure what I wanna do yet I'm -- a double major points side journals and students of thinking may be political reporting or maybe going in the law school after undergrad and quite curious well that's fantastic we're glad that you were able enter and happy that you.

The big winners Trish truce Paterson over here from affiliate sales chief very much on chose this every year she's been bringing -- there.

And Sarah bringing -- the big checks a year after year after year after year and she's made money -- problem -- -- guests checking account.

At least the biggest cheque book.

This is really taken off remember back in the day we in the very beginning we get we got a lot of entries but not like today.

Yet it's great it's it's taken on a a fantastic sort of second life because.

As with the rest of their day today it has a lot of practical applications now the winners actually get interviews.

And so they'd be interviewed by Fox News and -- announced job market right now graduates -- have extra hard times it's a really great.

Foot in the door -- you well in great experience for you guys and we love having -- really love the contest so it's been you know it's it's been one of our favorite things to do and it's -- nice -- -- now -- -- you know.

In our internship program and it's one big happy synergy.

Kind of situation you know I'm glad you mentioned that because people all the time.

And come up to me and I'm sure value as well Leo hey we -- Fox News we love that and might my kids are thinking about it being an intern -- all time.

It's doesn't that's not tell them at least Alex what do you need to -- -- I'm I'm just gonna try to get through school with X you know it's a big check and it's a lot of money sound very excited and it kind of.
