Colleges and universities have been known to push the envelope when it comes to inviting controversial figures to campuses.

And Williams College a prestigious private institution in western Massachusetts.

Is the latest to do so.

Question right now it is a matter of whether this event has academic merit or whether it has social -- college officials say they've received roughly half a dozen calls from alumni.

And one parent expressing concern.

Critics of the porn stars visit have questioned the administration's judgment and funding of the event tonight.

But Williams College officials are quick to point out that the money is coming from an endowment is a gift to the college -- twenty years ago specifically to fund education regarding human sexuality.

And orientation issues.

Colleges have all kinds of events we have hundreds and hundreds of events and share some of them are provocative challenging they're provocative challenging to different people.
