Transplanted into yet another patient it's the first time in history it's ever been done successfully -- our next guests all took part in the medical miracle we're joined by race.

But what happened.

Well I have a disease that.

Very commonly repairs and transplanted kidneys so.

When when inserted to recur they needed to remove the kidney right away.

And usually what happens is the have to get rid of the kidney it may -- becomes disease and usually transplanted them into someone else but in the situation -- You did something interesting tell us what you did.

-- -- Asks me if I would be willing to donate it to someone else who's waiting for a kidney.

And sent to me that was a no brainer there's no reason not to donated -- if it's possible.

If that would be a possible.

Now must have been a conflicting moment for you think you can my sister was incredibly kind to donate to -- her kidney.

Do I asked my sisters -- something that you want back Sarah what was what were you thinking is it did you ever question for a second may be asking for it back.

I'm not -- on.

When.

When I donated a kidney and they told me -- eyelid at.

So I really didn't need the kidney anymore.

So and it made me really happy that I was able to help someone -- even though I could not come in front and.

So what happens next is doctor Joseph Leventhal.

-- aware that this kidney exists and -- it is able now to possibly transplanted into Erwin Gomez was also awaiting a kidney doctor welcome to the show and take us through that process because.

This is a first for this ever happening what concerns did you have.

Well it's America's very technically challenging.

Procedure to take an already transplanted organ out.

And -- -- reconstruct the blood supply and the -- that goes to the Blatter to collect the year and and put it into another individual so it took a lot of planning.

On how we would approach the already transplanted organ.

Remove it safely.

And put it into another recipient in a way that would function not just for a short time but as any other transplant should be expected to.

Function so obviously have some serious concerns about this and error when you say that the doctors didn't sugarcoat this and all you knew the risks involved as you are awaiting this kidney what do they say to you and what -- were going through your head.

And they were very.
