Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the north the last.

And also the midwest and it's gonna be a relatively quiet -- -- across the northwest we are gonna see some moisture.

-- the temperatures aren't really too far away from where they should be at this time of the year and actually kind of pleasant for parts of you -- like Salt Lake City.

We're seeing a -- this afternoon that 78 degrees 68 over in Billings and -- once -- high temperature and -- and but toward the Pacific northwest along the coastal areas is going to be a very cool day out there only a -- at 53 in Seattle.

And a high temperature at 55 over in the city of Portland as -- head eastward into the midwest very warm for Saint Louis 76 degrees will be your high today 73 over -- the morning.

And 74 for -- high and I Sioux Falls Chicago 69 degrees will be your high temperature later on this afternoon so we are a little bit cooler out of great -- the Great Lakes.

And the reason for that is that we have a storm system that's rolling on through so there's a lot of cloud cover it.

With it there's also some cooler air behind that storm moving on into the Great Lakes.

And you're also gonna have to deal with showers and thunderstorms from the great waist down into portions of the central plains.

And some of those storms really are packing a punch as far as moisture goes dumping several inches of rainfall.

And a short period of time across parts of Missouri down into Oklahoma so flash flooding.

Is a concern -- actually had some warnings issued up because of the flooding.

At a -- both of these states are very early today so keep that in mind and not -- -- flooded roadways we do have a break going moisture behind that storm systems so relatively quiet weather behind it.

But then our next storm system that's relatively weak but does have some moisture with it moving on into parts -- Washington Oregon and even across.

Portions of the northern Rockies higher elevations you will be seeing some snow fog nothing too major just a couple of inches here and there.

But do watch out for some slippery roadways -- will be possible.

By Wednesday morning Washington in Oregon you gonna -- generally pretty quiet out there and drying out we're still gonna have some lingering snowfall across parts of the northern Rockies.

And across the midwest relatively quite as well behind that next that storm system that will roll through today.

Have a great everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina and a fox extreme weather senator.
