Kennedy now from Houston Catherine -- right founder and president of truth of the vote good morning to -- Good morning Gretchen -- started this a couple of years ago what did you do.

Well we saw vote fraud for our for our -- firm with -- -- -- in 2009 and from that point we decided that it was in time for citizens to get involved.

And so we started an effort to encourage people to get involved in the election process and help ensure free and fair elections and the idea spread so how do you do that to actually go to the polling sites what do you do.

Well -- there are so many ways for citizens to get involved you can work at the polls you can help make sure that the U voter rolls are accurate.

You can work an early ballot processes are so many ways the key is though just to take the first step assign priority to it.

And make sure that your community has free and fair election gets interesting captain because I know that year and a nonpartisan.

Group nonprofit group.

You would think that both sides of the idol would want.

This to be the way that you're trying to make it switches to make sure there's no -- but what kind of reaction have you received.

Well we have received a good bit of a good bit of hostile pushed back and it's extremely unfortunate.

But it's.

Apparently what comes with the territory when you're trying to advance it somewhat political agenda.

And not against someone that in an organization that would just stand for truth yeah the irony of it is.

Our efforts really self secure their right to protest -- and we welcome their participation.

Right so we're watching people who came out to protest the fact that you were just trying to make sure elections.

Didn't have fraud in them.

-- let's look at a new Fox News poll voter identification laws here's what Americans say.

70% say -- -- needed to stop illegal voting 26%.

Say they're unnecessary or discourage voting when it comes to having to provide -- -- what do you make of that.

Well -- -- -- absolutely agree that photo voter ID would help improve the overall integrity and accuracy of the process.

But I've I think it's very clear that the American people support it states support it.

And election should be run by the states it's it's somewhat troubling that our federal government refuses to that accept and acknowledge the fact that it's what that people want.

So true the vote is the name of the citizen led organization how can people get involved.
