Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southeast and it's going to be -- very warm day out across the southeast even hot for some of -- guys with temperatures that could be setting some records across.

Portions of the southeast as we head into the afternoon hours like at anti you're definitely living up -- -- today hot Atlanta.

Reaching a high temperature at ninety degrees 92 over Montgomery and the ninety's as well from Tallahassee up and -- other parts.

Other Florida Panhandle in -- violence also above average at the high at 86 degrees.

And seeing a high temperature this afternoon and 89 degrees.

Over in Jackson Mississippi -- we had north where we also have some of those above average warm temperatures.

Across portions of Kentucky and also into portions of Missouri lake Saint Louis we -- expecting a high at 76 degrees.

-- 85 over in the city a little while we do have a storm system that's slowly gonna creep on -- it actually will be bringing in concerns today for flash flooding.

Across the state of Missouri because it has a lot of moisture and because it's just so slow moving and a candidate we have a southerly winds and that's the reason why we're seeing that big warmup out across.

Parts of the southeast we -- also gonna got a lot of sunshine and houses some humidity so it could even feel warmer than what's -- thermometer reads.

As you head into the afternoon hours so keep that in mind heat index values -- actually be a little bit greater.

That's a thermometer in by 9 AM Tuesday some of that moisture will creep on into portions of Tennessee also into the interior parts.

The mid Atlantic like the Carolinas and then by Wednesday morning that batch of moisture will -- and -- we're gonna have another one.

Well on through parts of eastern Kentucky and also western parts of the state of Virginia south of that those so dry.

Still warm for parts of Mississippi Alabama Georgia and most.

Florida and South Florida by the way has been dealing with a lot of moisture over the past couple of days and receive several inches of rain from Miami -- also.

Parts of Fort Lauderdale we're still gonna see that moisture lingering out there for Monday Tuesday and even into Wednesday so -- umbrellas will be necessary here for the first half of your work.

Workweek at least.
