Slowdown -- that wind is a new study dealing a blow to all of these wind turbines that taxpayers are backing.

And this one has nothing to do with the birds they're killing.

Instead.

It -- wind farms are fueling higher temperatures.

On the ground.

Imagine that.

Mark -- not at all surprised by these developments what does this what's really going on -- -- and I this this is.

These things are poster children were told for addressing global warming now -- contributing to.

Yes this -- -- study just published in.

Nature climate change the journal and by -- university in New York scientists one point three degrees Fahrenheit increase in temperatures.

On the ground around all these when another study Saturn and -- -- -- and Texas.

And what they're finding is the more Windmills the greater that warming all around -- areas.

And this raises -- whole Specter questions we've already known the Windmills as you mentioned there are killing birds any estimates from point 2000 birds a year to almost a million and by the way.

Golf oil companies get fine for killing 28 birds and -- massive penalties when companies get exemptions from killing birds.

But what I don't I don't birds get killed just -- and that is is that what happened.

Yes figure called -- lenders absolutely and they try to do all sorts of things -- mitigated.

But that's this it's it's one of the sad facts of wind energy but in terms of temperature what happens is these turbines are pulling out pulling down the warmer air above.

And mixing and all the cooler at night generally cooler air settles on the ground.

And this these wind turbines are pulling an all this warm air so they're having a marked increase in -- all around it.

Which raises questions are they gonna start -- checking where -- lot of ground based thermometers are have they've been impacted now by what people are calling the wind island effect.

The wind heat island effect.

-- around these turbines so this is just another thing people thought.

Green energy was so simple it's turning out.

You know applicant I can remember the late us Senator Edward Kennedy was not a fan of these wind farms that within.

You know within eyesight of his compound -- -- and are related to that even knows where wind power the difference I guess its lead -- the relate to find senator myself this.

I I I always thought these things -- got off to Begin with for one thing there -- ugly.

But if they did the job and they generated enough energy did it and you can live without but they don't even do that so I guess the question going forward is.

What do we do it to.

Think it's going.

Well unfortunately it's a government policy to subsidize energy that doesn't work worldwide.

If you go for -- -- number 0% of energy's coming from wind it's still less than half a percent if you round.

If you look at wind power.

In in the UK they're finding in the -- cost more or use more energy to heat the turbines then it did -- they produced energy.

More energy used to heat and because they froze up during the cold weather.

We are finding that a hundred times the subsidy goes to win two solar in wind power.

Per unit of energy added as does it that does it as it does to oil and gas.

Oil and gas produced massive amounts of energy wind and solar don't wind power was about -- the thirteenth century.

People say let's let it compete with carbon based energy oil gas it didn't compete wind and solar have competed and they had their rear ends kicked.

And yet people still keep.

Resurrecting these technologies I'm not saying they should be.

Destroyed or -- stopped but the idea that we can subsidize in mandate them as a way to get us out of you know some global warming apocalypse which isn't happening and by the way what the chief proponents of global warming.

James Love -- has now recanted.

His alarm -- says he was wrong and he's the same man now who is saying that Europe's reliance on wind power will be one of the greatest follies of the 21 century.

Reliance on wind power to replace base load electricity.

So even the big Green grew -- are reconsidering wind and reconsidering the reason we have these when mandates which is fear of man made global warming.

Citizens -- -- long it was a lot of there.

There's a mark thank you very very much.

Do you want to.
