And about -- about segment tonight tomorrow is a one year anniversary of the navy seal operation that killed al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden and now and Obama campaign web pad.

Trying to take political advantage of that.

He had to decide.

And that's which our president to do.

You heard the president.

To make -- calls when no one else can do.

And joining us now from Washington Senator John McCain who believes that that is not worthy -- you know questioning whether Mitt Romney would have done the same thing and you say.

I say any president Jimmy Carter.

Anybody any present I -- obviously under those circumstances on the same thing and to.

And now take credit for something that.

Any president would do -- -- indicative of the kind of campaign were under we're we're seeing.

Let let me also point out this same -- -- said to surge wouldn't work in Iraq.

And did everything to stop that this same president that won one and a half million people were demonstrating.

In the streets of Tehran chanting Obama Obama are you without sure you with them he refused to say a word on their behalf.

And this is the same presence.

That -- 101000 innocent people have been slaughtered in Syria and he sets up a what it atrocities.

Aboard the aboard I'm not making them -- -- board on atrocities.

So.

All I can say is that this is going to be a very rough campaign.

And -- I have had a great honor of serving in the company of heroes -- you know the thing about heroes.

They don't brag.

All right Tom but is it a legitimate to say.

Because Vice President Biden said publicly that he would not have ordered the seal raid at that point in time.

He said now.

And there was a downside if you know that.

Being a military person.

If the rate had been botched and it almost was was one of the helicopters went down.

And or bin Laden had not been there and a cause a big thing with Pakistan as it did.

President Obama took a major chance.

In.

Green lighting that and I don't I don't know if it was as easy as everybody thinks it was because he had Biden tell them don't do what.

So isn't it legitimate for the president to take a victory lap one year later.

It and I think he got great credit and deserve great credit and and by the way.

The circumstances.

Were such and I give highest praise the president but the circumstances are such it's especially since they've been there since may.

What was such that as I say any president would have made the statement saying why should Biden but -- -- -- -- need to.

And this -- should -- the president listen.

Biden is the same one that said we should divide Iraq into three countries Biden as the same one that said desert storm would be another.

Vietnam.

Biden has.

It's been consistently wrong on every national security issue that I've been involved in in the last twenty years yourself.

So I would use -- brightness -- Bellwether but I would use any any -- United States given that information.

Would've done the same thing but I give great credit to depression the point is though do you use that in political campaigns to attack your opponent.

Mitt Romney would have done that exact same thing I am confident.

And any leader would have so -- Say that Mitt Romney wouldn't have I mean this politicizing.

What an event all Americans applauded enormous.

Okay.

I wanna bring it back when you have some time in the next couple weeks -- you know better than anyone what it is like to go up against.

The -- bomb reelection people I mean you went through it.

And I think the debates are gonna tell the tale between Romney and the present.

Would you have any advice for Romney right now in a debate situation would be anything that you would tell him to do that perhaps you did not do.

I think got a hold the present.

Accountable for -- record.

The promises and statements and commitments were made.

About -- a purple states and know -- that every hope and change how does that all been working around but I also think it's important and Romney is doing this now.

Is to tell the American people that positive agenda he has for the future of this country both at home and abroad.

And how hard when you go after in a debate how hard would you go after President Obama if you were Mitt Romney -- go after -- would you go after import.

I -- I would go after martyr because he has a record now.

To defend that dish and direct contradiction to.

What resentments in the promises that he made in 2000 inmates all right senator always a pleasure to talk with you thanks for taking the time we appreciate it was innocent.
