Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- movie now from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast -- southeast.
And it's going to be another very warm day with temperatures well above average out across the southeast were expecting temperatures -- into the upper 80s -- -- I -- ninety in the city of Atlanta.
86 where high temperature at Charlotte and we are into the nineties for Tallahassee and Montgomery.
This afternoon as we head further off towards the west also above average for New Orleans 85 -- -- -- high and high at 89 degrees for the city of Little Rock.
And also portions of Jackson Mississippi in as we continue -- track northward some -- that warm air has moved into portions of Missouri also to Kentucky what we're gonna be seeing those highs into the eighties as well for a global and also Saint Louis -- the reason why so warm is that we do have some southerly winds.
Across the region we also have high pressure in place and that's helping to suppress that warm air just keep it in place and we're also looking and generally dry weather because of that high pressure system.
And around that system we have clockwise flow and that's helping to pull in some moisture around that -- some of high pressure.
And pull it off towards the north across parts of Missouri into portions of south of the Great -- so Georgia Mississippi parts of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle seeing generally dry.
With that high pressure system in place now we're gonna continue to see that moisture writing all around that high pressure system but by Wednesday morning you're gonna have -- -- to see some.
Woods -- -- -- into portions of the -- -- up into parts.
Other Alabama into Tennessee -- see some more of those showers.
Spreading on into parts of the southeast and by Thursday morning so generally quiet across the Carolinas Georgia Florida.
But you're still gonna have some heavier batches of rain just south of the Great Lakes around rule -- Down into parts of Nashville it's going to be a slow morning commute for USC head out the door.
