Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center now with your forecast for the northeast and today's going to be a little bit cooler in some spots -- across parts.
A New England closer toward the coast like box in New York City today -- owning an -- -- highs.
Into the fifties a high of only fifty in Boston but as we head westward across interior portions of the northeast you're gonna notice at temperatures are above what's typical for this happening here.
Upper eighties for Columbus, Ohio in Charleston even in Richmond Virginia and into the seventies this afternoon as we head into the city of Buffalo, New York.
And seventeen -- -- high temperature over in Syracuse now we are gonna have some precipitation out across the region -- actually.
Looking at a warm front moving through the northeast and that's the reason why we're seeing those warmer temperatures across interior parts of the northeast.
And houses some showers already early today across parts of Pennsylvania and to even.
New York City as -- -- west where we do have some -- of heavier rain impacting portions of the Great Lakes.
And that's going to be the story throughout -- -- lingering showers and even isolated thunderstorms stretching from portions of the Great Lakes into up portions of the mid Atlantic and New England you guys are expecting generally quiet weather for today with relatively cool temperatures that actually ends early Thursday morning -- -- noticed one batch of showers -- gone -- in the overnight hours.
Across northeast it'll be -- -- New York City up into Boston you're gonna see drive for your morning commute on Thursday -- they had -- more of the same across the Great Lakes and interior northeast.
With those lingering showers and thunderstorms and by Friday we're still looking at those relatively warm temperatures spread out toward the south across the mid Atlantic and also Great Lakes region.
And also those lingering showers BC of C -- -- dealing with some heavier batches of rain.
By Friday morning but New York City so relatively dry some clouds around and some -- -- showers throughout the day.
