Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also the midwest and it's going to be a relatively typical day as far as temperatures go for us.

For early me across northwest upper fifties for Seattle and Portland 65 over and Medford and actually had eastward across parts of the Rockies a little bit cooler for Jackson.

And also parts of western Montana and northern Idaho we're expecting highs only into the forties.

But a completely different story out across the midwest where temperatures are well above average possibly even setting some record -- It'll investing -- we're looking at a high today at nine degrees.

86 over in Indianapolis in is gonna feel like or eat.

85 degrees over in the city of Chicago this afternoon now all of this warm air is going to be -- some trouble for us -- across parts of the midwest because we do have a risk to see some severe storms today.

And is actually a moderate risk out to see severe weather across parts of Nebraska and I was of moderate risk was issued by the storm prediction center.

Earlier this morning -- we can see some more of that violent weather with large hail.

Damaging winds and even some isolated tornadoes and that -- severe weather risk -- also include areas a little bit more widespread.

-- just Nebraska and Iowa stretching into portions of the Great Lakes and into the mid Atlantic -- already seen some of those showers and thunderstorms early today we'll continue to see them popping up.

Because of the warm air and also the humidity as we head west -- we have some of that cooler air we actually have some snow falling across western parts of Montana.

And also northern Idaho nothing really to significant is that an inch or -- but it could -- some roadways.

And could produce and slippery travel but by Thursday morning you're gonna have a more significant storm system -- -- -- areas.

Other northwest from Seattle down into northern California some heavier batches of rain will -- out there.

Just shy of an inch as far as late Wednesday goes and -- the hands of the higher elevations when -- gets cooler you can also see some snow falling down.

And possibly accumulating at times heading east -- those lingering showers out across parts of the midwest and that's -- the story as well for the midwest by Friday morning but across northwest.

Activity will be -- to wind down.

As far as a heavy rain not snow fog goes for you guys -- to be a little bit -- for you Friday morning in comparison to Thursday morning.

Have a great day everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox fishing whether senator.
