A historical presidential election is set for next month in Egypt following -- -- ouster of President Hosni Mubarak.
Now there are growing concerns that the outcome may turn Egypt into a -- Islamic state based on.

Recently White House officials held meetings in Washington with members of the brotherhood.

What I would say view is that we believe it is in the interest of the United States.
To engage with all parties in Egypt and to engage to continue to engage with -- Egypt because -- has been.

What it's a good question with the fundamental law and the good news is that the egyptians are voting definitely decisions or not that is not the bloodbath.

And this raises some real concerns from some that the US is gambling with members of the brotherhood.
Who have openly condemn the US and the west many say it's a big mistake that we're doing this do you agree.
Well I'm not in a position to judge about that but.
What when of the concerns is.

That we're bound by the previous regime that might be sanctioned.

And and let's not forget that late last year they managed -- in about 70% of the votes in parliament election someone let me ask you.
The question about giving this kind of money -- virtue of government that still has no.
Real solid foundation at this point is it a mistake in the United States to get involved at the stage of the game giving that kind of money.
To a country that is supporting perhaps.
An Islamist government.
