Tonight we continue our series running with Romney with -- two for one deal.

Because of Mitt Romney accuses House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee he gets the man.

And his message a message that has already been under the microscope.

The next president of the United States ladies and gentlemen amid.

-- Hearing top Democrats talk about Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan's budget that has already passed the Republican House.

You might think Mitt Romney has already chosen him to be on the ticket.

The Romney Ryan plan the -- me.

Ryan budget -- Romney Ryan budget and governor Romney hasn't exactly shied away from the Ryan budget plans and I applaud for the actual piece of work.

And -- very much needed this is a person who has led a very clear path for our party and for our nation.

-- -- -- is not just handing out complements.

Many analysts say he's making a decision by openly talking about the Ryan plan.

That is clearly seen by Democrats as a fruitful line of attack for them in the -- you campaigned with Mitt Romney in Wisconsin.

Spent a number of days on the trail with them.

He embrace your budget is that a full embrace.

That we.

I never expect people to embrace every little.

Decimal point every little spreadsheet line item but clearly he's embraced the kinds of reforms that we're talking about that are necessary.

To save and strengthen Medicare.

To prevent our debt crisis from occurring to reform the tax code to get jobs back in the economy and -- stop -- -- crony capitalism stop the corporate welfare what the president is dealing.

Is -- saying I want to take more money from hard working Americans from successful small business is bringing to Washington that doesn't grow the economy.

That -- cronyism.

And we reject that you've heard people say.

I know that it Mitt Romney fully embraces your budget and schools goes whole hog and holds up.

Paul Ryan as an example this is what we're going to do.

That there is of vulnerability in some analysts -- that.

He welcomes attacks.

What are you thinking that I hear this all the time look.

I heard this when I put my -- out in the first place.

It did do we want to fix these countries problems or not I mean that's the choice and all analysts seem to -- the choice of Ryan by Mitt Romney.

Would be a -- -- if you pick Paul Ryan you're going full Monty.

To take it on the budget in the deficit.

Regardless of all the pain that that that that would create.

We're gonna we're gonna.

Take your cough syrup America that could be.

The kind of campaign.

Did they could work but it would be very very different kind of campaign and -- them since they're in modern times offering.

Paul Ryan budget genius are very important in the congress good guy -- is close to home talks from a lot.

-- the downside is you know you nominate Paul one you take a real player out of the congress and to.

You're gonna re litigate the Ryan plan which has policy advantages but some political baggage.

Morning ideally when you hear they hear on a short list for Mitt Romney.

What goes through your mind.

You I'm pretty -- Doing my job I hear that.

Okay.

If they if they ask -- to consider then I'll consider it but that's months away from and that kind of decision being made is as far as I know.

I like my job I think I can make a big difference doing what I'm doing because I think we have a fiscal crisis on our horizon.

And I feel like I've played a pretty constructive role in trying to prevent that from happening.

From marketing consultant to political aide to speech writer for the late congressman presidential candidate and vice presidential nominee Jack Kemp.

In 1998 Ryan was elected congressman of Wisconsin's first district when he was just 28 years old.

And then house Republican leaders realized Ryan was a budget what is.

They moved him up the seniority line quickly vaulting him over twelve more senior Republicans on the Budget Committee.

It's real welcome -- order in 2011 at the age of 41.

Ryan became the youngest chairman of the House Budget Committee call which brings us back to his budget plan.

Ryan sees it as a pivotal point in the 2012 election.

We knew that if we offer solutions.

That they were gonna demagogue those solutions but we feel that we have a moral any legal obligation.

That if we don't like the direction the presence taking the country we should do something about it more importantly we have a law.

That says congress has to -- pass -- budget every year by April 15.

We think we should follow the law.

The senate for three years has decided not to follow that law.

The president has given us four budgets and never in one of those budgets -- you propose any solutions in this fiscal crisis so what they decided to do.

-- offer no solutions of their own weight for Republicans to offer hours then divide distorting the -- the president was out talking about student loans he says your budget cuts back on pell grants and essentially said.

That Republicans are turning their backs on young people well I think every week we're gonna see the president -- to various groups in this country in order to try and build an election coalition to try and win this election.

Hot pell grants for example.

Dramatic increases in spending.

Over the last number of years and what we've seen is a corresponding dramatic increase in tuition inflation.

What -- -- does is it keeps progress where they are we just don't sign up for the dramatic additional increase of the president's proposing and apparently we're not.

Increasing spending as much the president proposes that's considered a huge cut so easy wrong.

When he says this oh yes he's wrong all the time he's has these things we're used to that everything the president says about budgets about our numbers were used to him.

-- things that are their dramatic distortions.

At times Democrats have taken attacking the Ryan budget to new levels using this -- of someone who looked a lot like Paul Ryan.

Pushing an old woman in wheelchair over a cliff in the New York congressional race.

And then there was president Obama's you'd -- to Paul Ryan to sit in the audience spent as he lambasted Ryan's budget -- serious about a plan that claims to reduce the deficit by spending a trillion dollars on tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires but you're ready for Mitt Romney.

Were you pushing the grandmother over the course.

-- I've been having these ads running it's been for years so we're all used to this.

Another looming factor could change Wisconsin's role in the election and -- these calculations on picking Ryan -- a running mate.

Yeah the State's Republican governor Scott Walker faces a recall election June 5 it.

Report proposing then passing a law that strips most public workers of collective bargaining rights and setting major protests at the Statehouse last year.

If walker prevails and that means of Wisconsin could be in play this fall and that would remember that when in need to some degree raise Ryan's profile on this.

If walker loses then I suspect it will diminish his chance.

Ryan gets back to Wisconsin and his family as much as he can.

Often rushing straight to the airport after house votes to get home to his wife -- and three children if there's -- things that people don't know about you.

What is.

Coach -- a lot of things they don't know love -- -- -- mom mom and -- -- my husband much to hunt hunt and fish and having outdoorsman.

You know most of us like we want my kids so it's not all about budgets -- it's not all of -- it's not when I'm home on the weekends.

And -- region but something we -- you get home -- massive get you know I'm actually gonna cut on my office here I don't have a place here in DC I'm here for days a week after the last vote.

I had home.

But -- want to keep my truck -- drive home and beyond just like an elegant meals and you make the record from the capitol to the airplane and I've got that down to a science getting from voting to the flight to get home for dinner.

-- -- -- home for dinner tonight.

He's -- cheese head.

A loyal Green Bay Packers fan.

Photos of Lambeau Field decorate his office and while there aren't too many photos of -- on overseas trips.

He's made quite a few of them mostly to the Middle East President Obama and Vice President Biden our party signaling that they're going to run in part.

On their foreign policy record.

Great -- me because is not a very good one why.

Well look at their successes there aren't any.

For some of the -- says the reset on Russia that didn't work out too well look at Iran they're still moving toward a nuclear weapon.

Look at what's going on Syria they're still showing -- people look at the fact that we had a Green shoots of the Green revolution in Iran.

Where there was a chance.

After the death of -- the re election was rigged there was a chance to speak to the freedom movement in Iran the president was silent.

So to me that -- had a terrible foreign policy record.

The world is far much more dangerous than it ever was before.

And at a time when we have all these new dangerous threats on the horizon.

They wanna go to our military it makes no sense to me how big do you think foreign policy will play in general I think it's going to be about economics I think it's about the economy we can't keep spending money we don't have.

We can't keep a government that borrows forty cents of every dollar it spends.

That's threatening our economy today -- -- really threatening our children's future we have a big choice out of us and we're really sort of as a country at that proverbial fork in the road.

And the decisions our government's going to make in the next couple of years.

Will will -- the trajectory of America for a generation.
