Woman you're in luck because they're going to be talking about my two favorite things that.

Welcoming now -- -- Christina.

Waltz vice president and publisher of the food and wine.

You're actually talking to us about the thirtieth annual food and wine festival I am classic that is going on -- -- You're going to be attending an I would imagine right to your chief everything's fair food lion -- want your Turner's favorite -- -- Nelson and food OK now tell me about when you combine all of this -- this must be such a spectacular few days and just.

To be clear here June 15 through seventeen exactly is the thirtieth annual celebration right right so what what do people experience it is hard to get into the -- well we are the event itself is sold out but it didn't get an invite for those students you have to read the magazine.

Credits in -- magazine.

You're too busy working -- drinking a half we have been doing it for thirty years.

We also do these didn't want festivals all over the country now and you can experience great -- great wines.

Big -- lots of people walking around eating food.

Celebrity -- book signings.

And then this year we've added some things because it's the thirtieth anniversary so we're really really excited -- think what goes great with food and wine but music.

So having a concert with Elvis Costello so Elvis Costello and the blue but filers are going to be performing on Saturday night.

For those lucky people who did get their tickets they -- a -- to come -- that's again.

-- event at first weekend it's 1185.

-- -- that does not include your airfare your hotel your meals.

It includes those couldn't demonstration that I mentioned the wine -- 1185.

Dollars -- OK and that does not include the the concert which by the way 350 dollars a ticket -- -- -- Wisconsin right but the theory is that benefits charity that benefits -- chefs make change collaboration which will benefit some of the shafts charities that are cooking so in addition to seeing Elvis Costello you'll have food made by Mario the -- Not -- -- Jose Andres and mission on the shot DNA cook for me all the time perhaps it isn't so it's definitely worth that a bit.

And then you're gonna have grand tastings and there's a lot of other fun things that are going on throughout the -- are there are always grand tasting than cooking demonstrations and wine -- -- that's what food festival -- but because it's the thirtieth anniversary we've added some things.

So this year we're adding a late night dessert party hosted by our very own Gail Simmons and so of course while there -- late -- things are early morning things Bobby Flay is hosting a charity five K.

Which I'm sort of having my second thoughts now about getting up at 7 AM and running three miles.

But I'm again it's for charity so you gonna do it I am gonna do it yeah I'm good free Al.

I mean 7 AM I mean you'll you'll reward yourself -- nice snack afterwards will be plenty of food -- plenty of cards to -- I think it's -- I think it's the altitude we're more concerned about actual three mile I have run and I I was training for a marathon actually and I did have run I was and where was I Steamboat Springs.

And I went for thirteen mile run it was so different that yeah I was training for -- I was up in the higher mile and -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- The little now we're opening a new food -- restaurant in the Saint Regis so -- really getting ourselves ingrained in that.

In asking community.

And the 5000 people will be there all weekend we're not sure how many California we just opened it up for illustration so cool so you know sadly -- an avid -- I've never been to announcement ever ever not only is lucky that it is that so this is obviously -- do.

You'd and the restaurants the hotels everything but this -- summer isn't really really beautiful there now.

Yeah I'll activities hiking Whitewater raft saying yeah biking that's amazing so you don't even have to be into -- to enjoy -- I -- I don't think he's around he I think when we try to choose destinations where you -- to go to anyway.

And then we add a whole layer of excitement on top of that but you know -- -- -- good aspects of what is the most anticipated seminar at the -- You know there are some new things that I'm really excited about but I think the most anticipated one will be that cook off that we do at the end of the weekend how we always have chefs compete against each other.

And because the thirtieth anniversary of -- really kicked it up so it is.

Bobby -- and Michael Simon together.

Competing against -- the pan and his best friend -- Accomplish out yeah song concert act so Bobbie and Michael are very good friends shock and John -- very good friends they have very different styles but the competition should be super exciting on Sunday morning lost some of your and for such a great couple days it's gonna be so much and I think you should come to.

Thank you so much receiver for joining us we really appreciate you and coming in and talking to us about this you also on Twitter by the way it's GR DO VIC -- is it is about.

Very election if you have any other questions that I did not ask -- -- have enough time to get to all the questions about food wine.

The festival you name it go to her on Twitter.

And follow her because I'm sure you a lot of fun events to we are all -- -- -- worried about right here on amateur tweeting about all of this so yeah we just got him often in Pebble Beach and that's after the Atlanta and then ask them how well are we need to become friends can think feelings don't really fun to -- -- that.

All right thank you very very very uneasy at the end and we're.
