Here for bias fashion as well and one person.
We may not hear from certainly as a presidential candidate right now is Newt Gingrich we don't know what his role will be in the party.
Going forward let me ask you to bring us your -- bathroom and I want -- to well.
I'm in my biased -- I wrote a piece for Fox News opinion.
This week -- -- and I said look I'm not here to defend his presidential campaign and how he handled himself.
Marriages and so -- I am here to say.
That he was one of the most interesting figures in my lifetime in politics and one of the most -- and creative and his.
Signature was he didn't get stuck in these debates over.
Raise taxes cut taxes he was talking of the first ever met him was 1982 it was a some seminar in Washington and corporate transformation how to squeeze productivity out of you know businesses are.
And all the people that that Gingrich was most of student dealing with and talking to let every average stabbing her -- during -- Alvin and Heidi Toffler.
We're people who envisioned -- rule will look like.
-- technology with growth with transformation and Pete in which had his best was reminding us look.
You don't have to do a straight line -- projection of what the deficits -- -- -- -- 2050 years tax revenues fact that when you get some huge technological thing.
-- the Internet or the person.
Computers or fracking -- -- natural gas or methyl hydrates which is the next thing beyond fracking in terms of energy resources.
Everything changes so planned for.
The sort of the golden Phoenix's of technological frustration as opposed is getting us perhaps in this financial us.
-- whirlpool however the media.
And frankly most of the political chattering classes could never understand the game was talking about and so they've said -- -- challenge how stupid.
And never really realizing that again if somebody was -- that Christopher Columbus or to you know who John F.
Kennedy.
And in the end history hadn't been civilizations are made by those kind of leaps that they may and it's games is not replacement somebody else and who thinks -- in terms.
That we are realists tragedy including at least people making fun of them.
Well you know and -- since 1982 is he the kind of guy who will say I I have all this to offer.
I want to continue to get you definitely definitely -- obviously and one of his big focuses as alzheimer's and again.
We're never gonna -- about it.
Ever by anybody's reckoning there's Paul -- -- Barack Obama is without making major -- in some of these huge -- like alzheimer's alzheimer's currently.
There's a 172 billion dollar hit on the US economy is six million people -- -- number quadruples.
-- the next few decades with the cumulative cost of alzheimer's care no cure just care.
This twenty trillion dollars that's sobering sobering thought -- years -- only that negative if -- -- Romney or Obama would talk like that I think they do better.
Here's some what do you think housing media handled Newt Gingrich saying -- suspending my campaign and what do you think he would have to offer.
Whoever the president and it's.
I don't I just think Newt Gingrich.
Is -- Gingrich is because of the things that he did -- I don't agree that the media just was it was just the media making fun of lunar colonies I mean first of all.
You don't talk about lunar colonies in my opinion when were in this in economic situation more and I just.
That it's not that that it you know we were NR in the -- and everything was you know the economy was booming and now we can think -- I didn't -- sort of the point about dot.
But the reason he was on -- because heat.
Actually was very nasty and I just who didn't they did not really connect with enough conservative voters I don't think that he.
Was treated unfairly by the media I just don't see that they think that.
He he kind of brought it all on himself.
Do you have a time prediction for VP selection.
Hairston.
Made I don't know I have I mean I think that you know probably after.
You know.
I don't know I don't know actually I had -- Jim hood general recommendation I would I think I Romney camp.
-- Bradley -- in this country is on fox commandos on partial time.
Makes a good point is that right now it's Obama and Biden vs round.
And the quicker that but what we're Romney picked somebody as a running mate.
-- -- love second campaign or two guys are crazy to wait until.
Whenever whenever the Republican Convention is huge.
-- on August sometime that's foremost away which candidate do you think for vice president would be the most helpful and fund raising.
In fundraising.
-- -- -- -- It is there's three or four who I would put -- top -- who would.
I think clearly making an addition to the Romney campaign and anywhere in -- -- that Romney could go from being appointed you down in the polls to play running even.
And so that people that the donors who -- on the fence was able to is this -- might -- -- better get on the bandwagon here.
How could rubio and that senator -- -- -- Mike Huckabee in that category.
He's not the phase out of K street Wall Street's favorite candidate but he's the one who I think would bring Romney substantial.
Have to -- -- working class Americans.
-- rubio who Rob Portman of Ohio who they're all enjoy coming up in the name comes up a lot and I think probably that's probably where -- is headed.
And if he could show that -- he's not.
Is that if you really would put Ohio in the bag around it and I think they picked him and I think of this it was you -- probably Clinton's election for Romney in which case we better get my.
You know -- running neck and neck in Ohio we can just put up the Ohio poll before we wrap this segment Obama vs Romney in Ohio right now.
Within two points which I'm sure is the margin -- 44%.
For Obama 42 for around the one that I think is really interesting is Florida.
If we can show you that next.
And now get a final comment from -- in Florida where Obama was 47 to 416.
Points ahead of Romney Romney is now one point ahead of Obama.
That's a pretty big shift Houston final thoughts as they can yeah you on the campaign trail.
It's gonna come down to -- -- -- a handful of states and leave him on some of those states and I think about sports Tennessee.
The fight really happening I will say and I I don't know how much coverage it has gotten that the Obama campaign is.
We even more sophisticated than they were the last time around and they have spent a lot of time doing my -- -- targeting in these states that are doing very specific messages.
To their people and I don't think the Romney campaign has quite the same level of sophistication.
And so I think that that's gonna make a difference it's hard to -- Just look at these polls right now -- know what's gonna happen also obviously we need them to really have -- having debates and having a real.
Clear match up with yes it is to start to see what's gonna happen we can't wait for that.
That's great to see both of you we never miss FOX News Watch where we can catch you often times with our good friend -- Scott 230 and 11:30 PM on Saturday is.
There's -- powers have.
