Unlocking the secret -- of sickness.

And health -- the gonna unlock.

A lot of topics this morning when he got the morning of course you -- -- -- weaken medical news -- so much to talk about.

Including this -- stunning new information research that shows.

You know the illnesses that you commonly associated with folks in their sixties and seventies.

Turns out a lot of them -- too many of them are hitting 23 or even for decades earlier.

For example -- melanoma.

Osteoporosis.

Stroke breast cancer or alzheimer's.

Type two diabetes.

Even doubt.

To doctor -- why is that.

Well as you mentioned we're getting a lot of great news in medicine this week and one of them was this one and part of the reason why -- -- younger generation.

Is because patients are smarter now there are the better educated we are doing more screening and early detection that's part of it.

But it's also part of it is our lifestyle and the sedentary life has led to some of the things that we see we know we've melanoma we talked about this a week ago that more more.

They younger generation I go to these tanning salons and are exposed to sun.

Without using this on -- so we're seeing more melanoma some of dead best advice.

Is really stay away from most of these tanning salons and make sure like you know the -- between 10 AM and 2 PM is really high so.

Make sure you Wear your sun screen at -- fifteen up to thirty.

And the best advice that I can give is that make sure every month you self examine the entire state and you make it draw your body -- and -- right -- anymore so freckles.

And every month you -- thirty changes and if there are changes in the shape color diameter CU -- intelligence.

Positive for us is actually each missing disease we have talked about this in the past and always bring this the fact that.

You'll bone structure is exactly -- you're saving account the money goes and the more you spend.

If you spend more than he goes into your deficit and that's what it is -- bone health.

So you wanna make today you have a buildup if you know loan that would last -- long enough so -- -- -- -- longer that's exactly right it's our parity exercising your youth.

Has shown that would delay osteoporosis.

So by getting involving losing weight doing -- -- making sure -- you take your vitamins mineral calcium.

All of that is going to make sure that you won't have this kind of -- disease.

Yet our young generation is obese more obese and -- Because -- -- way too much salt twice as much salt as we should have one out of five Americans are still smoking smoking doubles your risk of stroke two times a greater risk.

Sedentary lifestyle high salt diet.

Obesity diabetes and high blood pressure I'm seeing a lot more high blood pressure.

In people and that leads to strokes on encouraging people and you just you saw me last you're -- bicycle I'm encouraging people get out there and be fit.

The next one -- talk about his breast cancer and breast cancers a lot of that's genetic.

So David's point about early detection we're out there looking for breast cancer.

And event if you have a family member that has that are close firm we -- we wanna scream you very very carefully for that when -- do.

When you're not gonna do limit and mammogram on the twenty that's very true but but like David was saying about -- -- things stand.

I want women to do self exams now that it's very controversial in the literature about that.

But here's my point of view on this Jamie if you find something go to your doctor show -- doctor than your doctor decides what you do.

This is the art of medicine it's not about.

All of this is -- good that is good women should be examining their breasts from a very early -- an abnormality go to your doctor.

High fat diet leads to breast cancer too much alcohol leads to breast cancer at an early age and know your genetics I think what's.

There are a lot of it is general information but -- personalized medicine and you really have to see if it fits you and it's not for everyone and I think -- when we talk about breast cancer.

Breast cancer prostate cancer they go hand in hand.

And I never thought the youngest person I ever operated on to -- -- it with prostate cancer was -- 39 year old ended day that would come last week.

That I operate under 32 year old I'd never thought I would see that day so.

This kind of cancer happens and even earlier in younger ones you just need to make sure that you're aware -- it.

Do the testing and talked to the doctor finally diabetes we've talked about diabetes.

Diabetes type to always used to be -- adult type of diabetes type two type one was for younger ones.

Now we're seeing type -- even in adult because that obesity is really on the rise.

And so these are the kind of you without making insulin but there is resistance and all of that has -- do we diets of the best advice.

When you you need to spend time with your children you need to make sure that you had a family.

Dinner together find out what they're eating and make sure -- engage in some kind of sport after activities.

So I -- lock out I had dinner with apps had taken out of this sugary drinks and sodas and replace -- with foods eventually I want.

Rather keep your mind -- because the last one on the list as alzheimer's and exercising your brain as load your body will -- -- -- your risk of dementia while you know low.
