President Obama officially kicking off his reelection campaign on Saturday and some are already saying that the president.
To spark the spark that got him elected in 2008 including Florida senator Marco Rubio listen.
All the things that made him different and special for years ago are gone.
And now all he does is run dividing Americans against each other obviously because he can't run on his record.
And you're away -- is the shell fields from the daily caller and democratic strategist Karen doubtful thanks for joining us this morning saying yeah before we get he let's also listen to David Axelrod he was quick to respond to rubio here's what he said on this week.
Well first of -- we're certainly running on our record you could hear in the president's speech yesterday on our record and our vision and our ideas.
For the future.
The Osama bin Laden.
Mission was certainly part of the president's record and we are talking.
And in this coming week you'll see us unveil an advertising campaign and extensive advertising campaign.
That is very much about where we -- and we -- we've come and the things that we've accomplished.
So what do you think Michelle I'll start with you he spoke for about 36 men -- Ohio State specifically when he kicked things off.
Did you hear a lot about his record.
-- -- -- Visit this reason why the Obama campaign slogan is forward it's because they literally do not want the American people -- look back because if they do they'll see his horrible record.
But we have the low -- labor.
Labor rate in the labor participation rates since 1980 -- And on Saturday when Obama held his first -- we -- that the entire -- -- of the venue was completely and people just not coming out for Obama like they did in 2000 -- it.
Yet the arena.
Could -- about 20000 people and according to Obama's campaign.
Only about 141000.
Attended said -- -- why do you think that hits.
Well I think that the president first -- 141000 is a very strong number that's a lot more people than are attending Mitt Romney's rallies certainly.
I do think though this one to be hard for the president to recreate exactly what he had created in 2008 because he was the historic candidate then.
So yeah it's going to be hard to recreate that now but the reality is the president is absolutely talking about his numbers he's talking about his record he's talking about the fact that.
Osama bin Laden as we know is no longer here is no longer a threat to the United States of America and the irony is that whenever he brings it -- which is part of his record.
He's criticized for actually bringing that up and also we have had over two.
All years of private sector job -- and if you look at the recession and we came from.
I'm in the first 33 months two point six million small business jobs were created after the first 33 months of the recession.
In the 2001 recession which is not nearly as bad as this one.
Only one point eight million jobs were created so when you dig into those numbers the numbers even though -- -- hasn't been touched yet the numbers are still.
Good considering all we have time for just one more com.
Alex you wrap it up Michelle let and it's ridiculous that he's trying to -- -- politicize a solid and -- in -- Look at the military risked their -- for the American people and not for Obama's reelection campaign so it's ridiculous.
And now he's trying to capitalize on it just shows why he's the most polarizing president ever.
All right thank you very much for joining us we appreciate it we'll see what happens next campaign has just begun thank you thank you -- him.
