Well ever since that hot -- moment with former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

There have been questions as to what exactly the president does plan to do with the potential second term in which he will have more flexibility as he put it.

The leader of one of the most powerful unions in the country AFL CIO president Richard Trumka is that the White House all the time and now he says he knows.

But he's not telling.

Have you had specific conversations with the President Obama about what his agenda and a second term might be.

We have I've had conversations with president -- conversations with his.

Staff his.

Cabinet about things of that sort yes.

Joining me now political consultant Mark -- he was an aid to book the 2004 John Kerry campaign and VOA Obama campaign.

And Tony -- who's a Republican political analyst in campaign consultant and national political correspondent for talk radio news service so you know it's like.

-- -- Mystery what President Obama says he's gonna do is secular attorneys and -- -- focus on immigration he talked about more jobs and so on but that the implication is.

They'll be more.

While listening -- got his union friends are about to spend 400 million dollars to reelect president Obama's I certainly hope he's got some.

Inside information as a result but the reality is -- and with this second term if the president were to win it.

He'll be inheriting the mess he created not George Bush's mess which -- he blamed blamed a lot the first time.

The president has failed to address debt and deficit relief which something that he appoint a bipartisan commission to find some results.

He didn't adopt the one of those policies no tax reform no entitlement reform.

He has to at some point deal with them if yes four more years it's gonna have to happen during that time -- work.

Gonna be over that edge that people know we're ready on.

Mark Hanna first things first and then we returned it looked you looked like Jimmy Stewart keeps you -- -- you look like skinny starlet.

-- -- -- -- Did you -- were not just second and half.

I'm I'm gonna prove it to you in a couple of minutes but.

Is there something not on the agenda that the president could do second term.

No constraints about reelection and yet you do have to worry about getting another Democrat in the office when you mean you've.

Sure sure -- of the president's talking to everybody who will listen about what he's going to be doing on that on the second term so.

You know yes he's talking to trumka yes he's talking to you know exit chief executives of you know major industry organizations throughout the country so he's.

He says he's an inclusive president he leads.

And he also listens to people who are you know who have some -- -- who have large Connecticut with the.

Question is whether he's gonna do something by executive order something that.

I've been out let me get this right you don't have to worry about like we showed a clip before we went to the -- of the woman this is up on the campaign reelection web -- in and they took it down.

But -- the girl was like.

On and then it's gone and there's no alone reelection -- worry about now I'm -- million.

I got to be very frank about this I'm not conspiratorial at all is the president.

Going to do things to expand executive privilege and power more than he already has tried to do his first term problem like President Bush I'll probably.

But and the Democrats -- today on any single one of those and you know that mega all the -- frankly concerned as an American.

Of what he may be unwilling to do if he wins that second term.

And he at some point has to be honest about the fact that we can't keep -- -- that deficit without a plan he's not proposed a budget has passed once he hasn't even -- about it yeah.

But those things are looking at it like it because if things stay the way they are now -- not a lot -- get done because the Republicans control the house the Democrats the senate.

And a Democrat in the White House not a lot has been happening over the past few months they're saying nothing's gonna happen from now to November so what does -- -- -- there isn't a.

Let them present that reflects on the sort of polarization and and the roadblocks that are you know being put in place by congress which -- you know extremely unpopular right now.

But that's that's separate I mean everybody's -- in the president's budget we didn't -- -- we can we can there and play as many hot Mike moments as we want we can have up you know these big conspiracy theories about there's some hidden agenda that Obama has he has nothing to hide the only reason we know.

Who is meeting with the president is because he's well.

Led one of the most sort of trans parent administrations in our nation's history to go literally trumpet still White House at anyone time -- once every two and then they show the White House logs because they you know they're committed to transparency if you look at Mitt Romney not.

But you know sunlight back on that Mitt Romney but when he's when he's telling secrets to his -- -- is it private off the record.

Fundraising events saying that he's going to you know eviscerate the Department of Education never -- and -- -- my -- -- -- -- -- I'm sorry yeah.

Is -- the talking about eliminating the so these institutions publicly I don't know if it really matters that Ron is set to launch a private but it doesn't matter if that means -- -- this week because in part because of.

Joseph Biden and gay marriage server and did the White House -- that's what -- does the vice president speak for you do is the president going you know disease now back gay marriage which he didn't before.

And they said what what they close -- its evolving so what does that mean button.

In this is that example is the perfect want to illustrate how the president has spent the list a year since he has not had complete control over the government.

Which he did first year's spending his time on policy margins talking about gay marriage whether it be through Biden.

Or himself saying he's evolving to get the gay community strongly behind and talking about the -- -- to get the class warfare game going talking about student loans to target the youth -- on -- side he's not acting like a president who's leading the country is acting like a candidate is trying to win a campaign.

He can't play that same card.

If he is the president for four years I don't worry about him.

Turning over you know our country to something transformational I worry about him settling my children -- -- future with more -- deficits that are unsustainable without a serious plan.

And yet the solve the problem you tell me Jimmy.

He did a few more troops would not mean it's fifteen.

You just tell me whether.

The people who support President Obama because he hasn't gone as far as saying that he supports gay marriage he's only said his position is evolving.

If we get in his second term and -- -- says I do support gay marriage are they going to -- Like gotten X and -- rockets to change from the evolving position that I banked on what I voted for -- For the second -- at look at the president has been completely consistent on this issue but at the same Douglas welcome and this is my own personal opinion and and actually -- quote Winston Churchill here who said once.

You know if you if you don't have the ability to change your mind are you sure you still have one like there are there this -- -- new sort of rights issue of our generation and the fact -- states are recognizing this state by state -- your home State of New York my home state of Massachusetts.

And this is going to become for America many Americans.

The last vestige of been institutionalized.

Discrimination that we have in this country.

And anybody -- is objectively observe this president knows that in his heart he supports in Paris -- to your point mark if it's already happening as if that domino already fell.

Why does he just come out and say what you want to say look you don't know what the president believes and -- our I don't know what the president believes in his heart you know he he has a very complex.

Worldview he understands that there are a lot of issues involved is driven by.

His value system he's driven by his faith.

As a group -- my -- They also got about politics he -- all.

Politician like look our North Carolina today what I -- don't value they -- -- -- -- gay marriage he won that state by less than a percentage point he's holding his democratic.

Reelection convention in that state to that backdrop that's it is about to all and to ban gay marriage does he -- -- -- take -- -- on.

Nobody want to send a message via the vice president but did the gay community.

Come next term quick -- where you are.

Look I'm the vice president isn't channeling the president here the vice president is capable of independent thought as we've seen -- -- other members of the administration they can speak on -- behalf of their own personal opinion which is what the vice president said when he was on the morning talk.

On the morning shows so the president's policy hasn't changed it's a little bit of a diversion for the administration.

And it'll be interesting to see what happens in a second term but I think all the policy positions that Tony alluded to supporting labor.

Sporting educations of you know supporting fundamental fairness in the tax system to millionaires are paying their fair.

And now he's amid a -- is all -- so how has your life changed since it it's a wonderful life.

It wasn't Atticus Finch as well not hot look at the camera -- look -- my good luck -- That cannot endanger that.

Mark Hanna.

Could Teddy saying thanks Megan thank you that's -- -- -- -- things.

Right I'm just end it doesn't think this just like -- -- while -- -- that and anyway moving up.
