Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for the southern plains.

As -- as the southwest and it's not as hot today across Texas we're looking at temperatures finally a little bit cooler -- enjoying.

More seasonable temperatures for us 820 behind Dallas 81 over in Shreveport.

And even New Orleans a little bit cooler today just -- degrees but and definitely a change 8043 should be a high temperature as we head into the afternoon hours.

And as we head west -- eighty degrees in Denver beautiful day out -- seventy -- we -- high in Albuquerque and we're on the warm side.

Even into parts of Southern California with Los Angeles expecting -- high at 77.

And 71 degrees should be a -- this afternoon in San Diego now as far as rainfall goes we are going to see a lot of it across the state of Texas.

We still need the moisture -- some misses us some welcome news for us right now not a lot going on -- some isolated showers and thunderstorms we do plan to see.

An area of low pressure or some upper level energy that's actually gonna help to -- some showers and thunderstorms as we head into your Thursday but again for Wednesday not too bad.

Just some isolated stuff here in there.

Four -- relatively quiet and California and Nevada also seeing on the quiet side but let's take a look at that feature radar you can see some of that energy certain to fire up those showers and storms.

Already early on Thursday we're gonna see some areas.

A pretty heavy -- on across southwestern Texas -- keep that in mind.

You need the umbrellas and you're -- also need the rain -- and some of that moisture will continue -- track eastward.

By Friday early -- -- heads up -- in Houston south of Dallas you're gonna -- dealing with some of those showers and heavy thunderstorms.

For your morning commute on Friday but take a look at the four corners Nevada California so on the quiet side -- dry weather in store for you guys through Friday morning.
