A couple of hours ago when -- gonna love this it's called -- photographed dot com there's a book now by the same name.
Of the project.
And -- tell -- I mean you -- no -- explain this much better than I can't wall was -- it's a really simple idea but -- really -- tell us about it.
Yes so how little happiness in the kitchen table my family were -- thrilled hopeful homes they came across this photo of my my younger brother -- and who is sitting in the exact same spot.
And in the present time as he was in this photo that we -- in the in the album and I was singing the same spot in my mom took the photo -- in in.
In the past me and I was sitting in the present in the same spot.
And so it's -- -- solution moments when I could grab the photo out of the plastic of the -- and I held it up and I was doing doing these and I think we're trying to get all lined up.
And when I got my camera and I took a photo of it and then there's about five more from the same photo album and I went online and -- posted on a -- of life.
And posted -- six and ever since saying the Pentagon life of its own it's and it's been it's been pretty.
Is that and so if somebody gets somebody takes an old photographs they put in the exact same place if they if they can find that place obviously -- -- and then take it take the photograph all of the -- ground yet it's a wonderful idea mom and it adds.
What's the how many people look at you got involved and how many entries -- or what have you Goran submissions -- you.
-- bring -- you five intense missions a day right and I have thousands and thousands they have a good backlog.
And obviously we made a book -- -- for some of our summer favorites and -- asked.
Now you how do you want to know what's a favorite you have do you choose -- really has been.
Thanks you -- -- that hey I guess it's just an emotional reaction -- -- -- morrow lake.
-- -- When I choose which one of -- excellent post when -- day and it's it's I guess hard hit because I had so many right but it's one that -- -- well went -- -- well.
Or one that's that really just Texas hello this come along which is of us of a small boy a they -- these seem to cover on the screen and the small voice cycling is pica long what looks like I don't know guess and Oceanside -- it was happening in.
They've taken that again it's just it's lovely and what you were also -- people to write something about the photographs as well yet that's kind of a thing that that makes because the whole -- has been done before -- -- an old photo right in the past.
The present time.
But I'd in the caption really makes it what it is to get the full story behind -- get to see how the people are actually feeling you compared to when there -- just.
The photo there before what what kind of things that are writing is it generally love letters to the person it enough.
-- generally this is your photograph me right what what you think about the photo or how you feel about it so usually it's someone who's passed away.
For someone who's -- father has has left them or someone who's sick and has cancer something.
So you it's a lot of a lot of emotion comes out of because you see who change and in time.
And -- else to get a feeling of how that person's doing a lot of people.
I think the reason why it's it's so successful so far -- because I think lot of people can really relate to it -- if -- resonates with themselves.
Well so it's great project yeah.
It's it's an awesome project I had heard evidence of wonderful you know slipped inside the book he's written this flicking through the book is where I guess we hear this on -- Yet you can get it everywhere came out yesterday here in the states.
And it's it's a spectacular book and you can't really can't help but have an emotional reaction even if you don't know with a character yeah it's a very it's super cool -- has to super cool no question about it.
What's what will -- into the idea of an actual book about this did you see some of the website oversee -- photographed dot com again and why the book.
I'm I was -- I wasn't forced to but if everybody just kind of came on names read that you need and make a -- I had few publishing companies come to me and and out eventually harpercollins.
Pick me up in and they've been a great team and -- regret very well together and it's been it's been a lot of.
It's kind of a funny thing you know because this is the can't sort of thing that a good ol' fashioned book is just awesome right war you know it's.
It's much better than having to Kindle I could pull the -- -- leaving it out into Poland yes they're looking through rate is going on your coffee table like and I yeah we'll come around and you lose a conversation for the next when he met at the end like that that it would spot conversations oh that's great thing about it.
It's it's been cool to see.
Because like.
It's kind of a full circle thinks it's so close a website and one before that it was sports photos and and you put on a website -- now it's turned into a book so it kind of comes full sort.
Both Mac and it's a it's a wonderful -- and as we -- the book available on Amazon don't call -- iTunes bookstore.
All of those things and that really is a book that you wanna get an actual copy off and put it on a closing table and look at it.
Treasury it's great to Jones it's a -- a fabulous idea Taylor is the founder of give photograph dot com so what are you don't do that today go take a photograph.
Of the old and put it in the present.
It'll be great.
