The fate of the man accused of murdering three family members of the actress and singer Jennifer Hudson is now in the hands of a jury.
Both sides gave closing arguments today and we're told a verdict could come at any time.
Prosecutors say Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother in -- you see here murdered the star's mother and brother inside the family's Chicago home back in the year 2008.
A cup a few days later cops found her young nephew did in an abandoned SUV.
This case is almost entirely circumstantial according to observers because -- really were no witnesses at all.
And earlier in the trial we heard the frantic call to 911 after Jennifer Hudson's sister found her mother did and a pool of blood.

They also pointed to some physical evidence including a cell phone signal from William Balfour -- cell phone near the Hudson mother's home.
Just before the killings that phone was then apparently switched off for several hours and in the woods a prosecuted Jennifer backbeat that was because quote.
He was busy busy killing three people and getting rid of the evidence today she said it's time to hold him responsible.
For murdering.
And executing them as you said Jennifer Hudson.
Was in the -- again today she looked down at times it was very difficult for in particular what prosecutors showed photographs of the bullet riddled bodies.
All of relatives she obviously now is waiting for a verdict -- told the jury will deliberate.
